Born in Liverpool on 1 November 1937, Jimmy Melia started his career at the Reds and helped the team get out of the Second Division, making 1955 and 1964. The forward's final campaign at the club was 1963-64 when Liverpool FC won the First Division title, although he left the team in March, joining Wolverhampton Wanderers. He bagged 79 goals in 286 appearances for LFC, being club's top goalscorer in 1958-59 season, netting 21 times. Happy birthday, Jimmy!
