Seventy-one studies have tested knocking on doors, in big cities and small towns, in primaries and general elections. On average, every 100 doors you knock adds two or three voters who would not have shown up. This one is settled, and it runs entirely on volunteers.

The vote is today. Senate Bill 475 and House Bill 1019 would fast-track a 90-day suspension of Ohio's motor fuel tax to lower soaring pump prices.
