Tributes to Mr Friar tomorrow: Player walk out will be slightly earlier at 14.54 and there will be a special tribute at 14.57 with a PA read and stadium tribute and moment of applause before playing The Angel (North London Forever). You can also walk across his bridge and for those who arrive the other side, you can take a look at the boards across from The Armoury store on Hornsey Road.

... I was i believe the last person to interview Ken for the @AST_arsenal for the 125th Anniversary arsenaltrust.org/feed/news/2… and he really really didnt want to do it. He did it as a favour to me. But reading the article, he was the master in saying much without saying anythin, which personified his calmness. I sent him a few messages over the last few months, many of us knew he was in ill health, the fact that he wasnt at Palace or Budapest was a shame, and only two weeks ago i again asked for a favour to get another Q&A to celebrate the clubs 140th Anniversary, alas as he said at 92 ''i must decline your vey kind invitation to revisit my past'' An absolute club legend, who leaves us with so many stories. RIP Ken Friar

Thank you, Ken, for a lifetime devoted to Arsenal. You will be greatly missed. Ken’s extraordinary lifetime of service to Arsenal speaks volumes about his loyalty, dedication and love for the club. Across generations, he was a constant presence, giving so much to Arsenal, its supporters and the local community. Our thoughts are with Ken’s family, friends and everyone who knew him.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Life President Ken Friar OBE. Since our formation in 1886, there have been many inspirational individuals who have driven our club forward, but no one has had an influence on Arsenal Football Club quite like ‘Mr Friar’ and he leaves an extraordinary life of service to the club as his legacy. One that will surely never be matched. Rest in peace ❤️

Here's the MoS story as it appears in the paper. And to be clear, it was a minority section of Man City's support who invoked Helen's death in their attacks against me. I rarely even referred to her illness before she died.
The human cost of reporting on Man City’s cheating for 15 years. It’s on the Mail website today and will be in the MoS paper tomorrow (Sunday) but they backed my reporting 100%. That reporting continues on my Substack. Google it for details. dailymail.com/sport/football…

Arsenal Supporters’ Trust and Hard Rock Café teamed up this summer to provide meals for people experiencing homelessness in central London, turning food that could have gone to waste into support for the community.

Football is about more than 22 people on a pitch. Thanks to the support of our members, the AST is using its shared passion to make a difference both on and off the pitch and in the community it serves. arsenaltrust.org/feed/news/2…

Update: Arsenal have agreed to our proposal for more transparency on away ticketing. Twice a year they will publish a breakdown of how many away credits are held (in each band) and the proportion of tickets purchased by members and those held back for staff/corporate/contractual reasons. Best practice the AST would look for is in region of a 90/10% split.

Update: Arsenal have agreed to our request to review the Season Ticket Waiting list. The list will be tidied up through identity verification, duplicate checks and anti-touting measures. There will also be greater transparency for new joiners on the size of the list and that it is an indefinite waiting period. We hope this includes how much the list moves each year. The ST waiting list will be kept under review.

No capacity changes at the Emirates. Focus will be facilities behind the scenes. Expect more hospitality offering. Once again we secured a commitment from club that they have no current plans to move or reduce any general admission places. But all supporters must be vigilant to this and repeat the importance of custodianship.
Important update from Arsenal that there will not be a major rebuild masterplan for the Emirates. Instead the stadium will continue to ‘evolve’ through upgrading. Mainly to behind the scenes facilities. More details here share.google/6MWjZOTyYp5v81o…

Technology failures have been the biggest issue for so many members and Arsenal fans recently. So we made this our priority topic for the AAB. Arsenal’s CTO attended and to his credit apologised and accepted things weren’t good enough. He said he and the whole club were determined to address and make things better. He explained it will take time as involves addressing many layers of old problems. We will monitor this closely.

My line that all football clubs including my own - Arsenal - are too socially and culturally important to be owned by any one state or billionaire has never been truer…….
