I have always kept up with the reports about #Grenfell but seeing it all laid out in one place, Grenfell: Uncovered had me crying the entire way though. Had to take breaks. I still can’t believe how little the council + government cared about those residents… or care in general.
But aside from the council + government, the amount of people complicit is insane and in this case, there should be no red tape involved.
If you knew in any way, you are guilty.
I spend way too much time realising I haven’t replied to someone.
Despite knowing that in no world would I talk face to face with 20+ people at the same time let alone 3, I still feel pressure to be able to?

Wanna talk about freelancing.
As a hairdresser, hours are LONG, labour intensive, actively stressful (socially) and sometimes mind numbing. But one thing I can say? I’m always paid that day. (1/3)
Invoice based work on the other hand - not for the weak. Waiting for invoices to be paid feels so dehumanising at times.
Big up all the orgs that pay in good time and/or on time because it seems like no matter how many projects I work, my direct debits still bounce. (2/3)
Often times, retreating into my shy nature doesn’t get me through the day.
I understand why people don’t think I am, but, when you see me in the corner or notice that I’ve disappeared for a bit, remember that I am socially wrecked + that I’m just trying to recharge on the job.
