Stacy Polley’s father, a musician, nurtured a love of music and theater that she has carried throughout her life. On Oct. 8, she brought that love to Sony Hall in New York City for Act VI, an evening of philanthropy and performance dedicated to the man who first taught her the joy of the stage — and to supporting research aimed at preventing the disease that took him from her. "Act VI was a chance to honor my father, celebrate caregivers like my mother who give so much, and bring people together around a disease that has touched so many families. My hope is that the joy we created together will help fund the science that changes the story for future generations." Over 400 guests came together for an evening of music and heart to support the Fork It Fund, in partnership with the Association, which has surpassed $5 million for prevention-focused research. Thank you to everyone who helped make Act VI an evening of connection, remembrance, and recognition of the caregivers and families touched by the disease.

When Chef Fabio Viviani cooks his mother's meatball recipe, he's transported back to the butcher shop where he spent treasured moments with his grandfather who passed away from Alzheimer's. “My weekend mornings started at 4 a.m., helping him clean the local butchery...The butcher would give us the ‘scraps’—beef, pork, veal, chicken, anything. I remember grinding everything with bread, cheese, salt, pepper, onion...which then inspired my mom’s meatball recipe." In honor of National Pasta Day, get Fabio's family pasta recipe, including his mother's meatballs that are "the best around": bit.ly/4i2AIyq. 🍝 #NationalPastaDay #ENDALZ
