“God for Pocket, England, and Sheboygan!”
Getting excited to host @TheAuthorGuy and @austintichenor this weekend at the last four performances of the world premiere of the stage adaptation of Fool! And get Chris's latest, Anima Rising!

Celebrating 60 years of Orson Welles’s Chimes at Midnight! 🎉 Austin Tichenor dives into Welles's passion project, his portrayal of Falstaff and the film's "messy and imperfect" brilliance. @austintichenor @FolgerLibrary #ShakespeareOnFilm 📽️

Now with 100% more Sheboygan!
I liked A COMPLETE UNKNOWN; I just wish it'd been more like SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE. My latest for the @FolgerLibrary.

This has been deleted. Not sure if by @MeidasTouch or President Musk.
Re-tweet this over and over.
Sure, Guy Pearce and Adrien Brody are great, but the movie is a cliched, meandering, melodramatic mess that of COURSE argues that it's the destination not the journey in its closing line. Ignore the hype.
I wrote about the charming Shakespeare & Hathaway for @FolgerLibrary, and am grateful to @shakesinireland for introducing me to the work of @lisahopkinsshu and discovering that a ‘cozy mystery’ is an actual thing.

Seriously considering hanging onto the Scroogian sideburns after CHRISTMAS CAROL ends, and rocking the Isaac Asimov look year-round. What say you, Hive Mind?
My latest for the @FolgerLibrary was fun to wrestle with, drawing help from Shakespeare, Dickens, @GoodmanTheatre, @IndyShakes, Holtzman & Schwartz, and Oscar Wilde.

"Some say that ever ’gainst that season comes
Wherein our Savior’s birth is celebrated...
And then, they say, no spirit dare stir abroad...
So hallowed and so gracious is that time."

Did you know the co-star of one of the great screen comedies is also a huge Holmesian who’s written a series featuring Sherlock’s brother Mycroft? I’ve read the 1st two and they’re fantastic. Apparently the man played some basketball, too. Legend.
Thanks @Dmolin20 for proving I have Resting Scrooge Face even backstage. Happy Opening of A CHRISTMAS CAROL @GoodmanTheatre!
I was a goddamn vision.
The RSC Podcast turns 18 (!) this week & THE RING REDUCED turns 30 (!!) this year! To celebrate both, @austintichenor @ReedofRSC & Adam Long reminisce about our 24-minute operatic epic. HEAR HERE (or wherever you get your podcasts)! @AmericanTheatre

Fascinating surge over there in the last 48 hours. Will probably post more in the 'Sky in future than here on Sh1tter.
My only solace this morning is that the lives of old white people are also going to get immeasurably worse in ways they haven’t anticipated…but they will at least deserve it.
I won’t stand in line for much, but @BackRoomShakes last night is one and voting today is another. #LFG
