“Fighting is a good skill to learn early. Even if you can’t use it all the time—it doesn’t hurt to be safe. As for drinking…”
I trail off with a sigh. I didn’t really need to explain that one.
I wasn’t entirely sure what I would make yet, but I was definitely —
“Some do. But again—my team isn’t affiliated enough with the guild. Guild services are reserved for the explorers that actually live there.”
I smile down at Vil, happy to hear the praise for my cooking.
“Been cooking since I was a young teen—damn right I’m good at it!—
“W-what?? Hey, that bag was the only one I’ve had in months! I mow through like, 3 different training dummies every month!!”
That last part was unfortunately true. It’s a wonder that I had enough to constantly buy new equipment //and// cooking ingredients.
“Besides, you’re—
“It’d be a really long story. It’s best we don’t get into the details about that right now.”
I’m sure I could trust Villard enough to tell him, but it just wasn’t the best time. Moving on, I cross my arms with a huff.
“No way. Since I have to work almost daily,—
“Oh, no—our investigations have nothing to do with the guild. They’re more… personal things. We just take jobs from the guild.”
I couldn’t really say what the investigations were about, but there was a good reason for it.
“Hff. I don’t have time to drink alcohol. Besides,—
I sigh and take a seat beside Villard. Guess I could use a moment to kick back.
“I’ve been out doing some investigations. My team does more than just rescue missions, though I suppose I’ve never mentioned it.”
“Don’t worry about it. It’s the very least I can do, anyway.”
Reaching down and ruffling the younger brother’s head.
“Try not to drink so much next time, yeah? I’d rather not clean up after you if you puke.”

brother just hit him.
"Woah! Another brother maybe.."
He sounded excited at the idea before nodding in agreement for the dna test. It sounded like the best option here than having nothing.
"A dna test sounds good to me, because I got nothing else."
He sighed heavily.
