US spot bitcoin ETFs saw $228M in net outflows last week (Oct 12-16) — a second straight down week, but only a third of the prior week's $679M pace. IBIT (-$165M) and FBTC (-$60M) drove most of it; MSBT led inflows at +$6.7M.

Spot Bitcoin ETF outflows eased to ~$400M this week (Oct 12–16), about half of last week's $819M pace. IBIT and FBTC did most of the selling. BTC is still holding above $81k — selling pressure is moderating, but demand hasn't turned yet.

THE BLOCK: U.S. spot bitcoin and ether ETFs drew a combined $1.1 billion last week, their best inflow week since April.
Bitcoin funds took in $853.5 million and ether funds $244.9 million, per SoSoValue. Bloomberg's Eric Balchunas tied the run to the Coldcard exploit, though ether has no exposure to the Bitcoin-only bug.
