Humans aren’t wired for good OPSEC, no matter how experienced they are.
Multi-signature wallets exist because of that, not despite it. Remove the single point of failure, whether that’s a person, a key, or a machine, and the whole risk profile changes.
Mike Belshe explains that BitGo built that structure over a decade ago, and says it still holds up as the foundation everything else gets layered on top of.

If we spent as much time thinking about money as we do about food, everyone would own Bitcoin.
Everyone should pay attention to @ddcnorma - impressive business leader who made the world’s first Bitcoin cooking show feel completely natural.

Join our host Stephen Sargeant (@lifesgt) as he sits down with Ben Choy, General Manager of MENA at @BitGo, to discuss digital asset trends and regulation in the UAE and broader MENA region. Choy recounts his work at Singapore’s Monetary Authority on the Payment Services Act, explaining early crypto regulation’s risk-based focus on value transfer and anti-money laundering. He describes how UAE regulators have moved beyond simply attracting companies to building clear, institutional-grade frameworks that enable confidence and new use cases across payments, settlement, treasury, liquidity, tokenization, and capital markets. Choy explains why institutions choose BitGo for long-standing, regulated, security-first infrastructure and how education remains a key hurdle for traditional firms adopting digital assets systemically. They cover custody’s foundational role, heightened security focus after hacks, long-term product building, UAE’s nuanced approach to global regulatory influences, interest in Jordan’s emerging framework, and BitGo’s “pipes” infrastructure approach, including its Go Network.

BitGo and @GateUS_Official are excited to announce a strategic relationship so that stablecoin programs issued through BitGo’s stablecoin-as-a-service infrastructure have exchange partners as they come to market.
For issuers, access to a regulated US trading venue supports early liquidity and gives holders a place to trade the asset from the start of a program.
We look forward to working with Gate US as more stablecoin programs launch on BitGo’s infrastructure.

Right now, tokenized products tend to split into two separate worlds: regulated inside the US, or offshore and firewalled away from it.
@wbpeck of WisdomTree, doesn’t think that split has to be permanent. He’s focused on a model where something fully regulated within the US perimeter can still reach investors anywhere, without needing a separate offshore version to do it.
It’s early, but he says the groundwork for that future is already visible.

The crypto industry is worth about $2 trillion today. Equities alone are a $70 trillion market, and that’s before counting banking or the hundreds of billions already sitting in stablecoins.
BitGo CEO @mikebelshe explains why all of it, crypto, DeFi, capital markets, banking, is moving onto digital rails, and why BitGo’s regulated bank charter was built for exactly this moment.
Tokenized money market funds have become the biggest product-market fit story after stablecoins themselves, and for good reason.
They’re backing stablecoin reserves, giving businesses a treasury asset that swaps instantly into stablecoins, and acting as yield-bearing collateral that moves 24/7.
Will Peck, Head of Digital Assets at WisdomTree, breaks down why idle cash sitting in a checking account is becoming a thing of the past.
