AI isn't making everyone better. It's making a small group of people ridiculously hard to compete with.

Stop building a 14th AI agent for a problem 30 people have. People are building rocket ships to cross the street. A better model turns your tool into a free feature in about 18 months. Maybe 24 if you're lucky. Meanwhile the guy who posted twice a day that whole time has 15,000 people reading everything he writes. When the next tool drops, he's the one selling it. Unless you're shipping a true breakthrough, a mediocre product from someone with 15,000 people who trust them outsells your great one this year.

Balaji predicts Zcash will become the encrypted cash of individuals worldwide while Bitcoin serves as the reserve asset of Western institutions “Look, I love Bitcoin and I think Bitcoin is going to continue to have a role because its transparency means governments can prove they hold Bitcoin” “They can't prove whether they hold gold, physical gold. You know, a video of Fort Knox would not be trusted but you can prove whether you hold Bitcoin” “Bitcoin continues as a transparent asset, the reserve asset of Western institutions. But Zcash I think becomes the encrypted cash of individuals around the world”

The biggest lie about AI is that it levels the playing field. It does the opposite. High-agency people are using full brainpower + full AI power to do what once required entire companies. Lazy people are using it to write better excuses. Best time in history to get shit done. Worst time in history to wait.

You don’t become dangerous in an industry by knowing the headlines. You become dangerous when you can explain the meta better than the “experts“: what is working, why it is working, who is winning, and what is likely to happen next.

Grok Bot is quietly becoming the most useful AI product. It can interview you, learn your context, and run a repeatable workflow. Now the agents are shareable with your personal data removed. They gave me early access, so I built two shareable bots. 1) PITCH DECK ANALYZER I get pitched 5–10 times a week. This bot learns exactly what I look for, analyzes each deck against my preferences, and helps me quickly filter out opportunities that don’t fit my investment criteria. 2) AI USAGE METER If you use multiple AI tools, you know how annoying it is to check every subscription just to see how much usage you have left. This bot tracks it all for you in one place. That’s what makes Grok Bot exciting. It doesn’t just talk. It learns your situation, runs a workflow, evolves with you, and becomes more useful over time. Stop hanging around people who don’t want you to win. I'm so desperate for this to be the post that finally tips you over and gets you to walk away from relationships that aren't good for you. If it's coworkers or acquaintances tearing you down - step away. If it's family you can't fully cut out, limit your exposure to them. The people you spend the most time with become the air you breathe ... make sure that air isn't poison.

"The people who eventually break world records, win Nobel prizes, and dominate grandmaster chess were total generalists early on." this is interesting. being a generalist young is really just being very curious, and curiosity is the thing that eventually disappears in most people. school and social media don’t help…neither one rewards curiosity. they train you to switch to instant gratification instead AI is probably the only tool that delivers the instant gratification and preserves the curiosity chat gives every kid a tutor who never runs out of patience. no question is stupid, and they’ll ask things they’d never raise a hand for code gives them an engineer. it feels damn empowering to watch your own idea come to life agents let them ship it and focus on the things that matter most i believe more kids will stay curious longer, because they can pursue many more interests as far as they want before picking one. that used to cost a lot more time and money and moreover, many more people are rediscovering their creative side and becoming curious again with AI
Your parents lied to you. Researchers analyzed career trajectories of 34,839 top performers across multiple domains, including Nobel laureates, elite chess players, and Olympic gold medalists. turns out: - the "gifted kid" almost never becomes the adult legend - future world-class performers were AVERAGE in youth - they explored 2-3 fields before specializing - early specialization actively destroys long-term potential we have spent decades driving children into a single lane, demanding they pick a sport, an instrument, or a subject before their brains are even fully formed. the data shatters that entire philosophy. researchers looked at 19 massive datasets tracking elite performers across every major domain. the finding is absolute: Early exceptional performance and ultimate adult world-class performance are two completely different populations. the kids who dominate international youth competitions? they burn out. they plateau. they peak at fifteen and vanish by twenty-five. meanwhile, the people who eventually break world records, win Nobel prizes, and dominate grandmaster chess were total generalists early on. they played multiple sports. they picked up different instruments. they explored random subjects. they started slow. they built a wide, multidisciplinary foundation while the "gifted kids" were trapped in a narrow tunnel. by the time the early specialists hit their ceiling, the generalists had the cognitive range to blow right past them.

Stop hoping AI makes you special. It won't. If you're soft, congratulations. You just got a nicer blanket. If you're already a beast and you actually use this stuff... you're going to move mountains. You know the guy I mean. The one who was already a maniac. Already didn't need a morning routine. Already had a target. Wasn't sitting there asking which model is "best” That guy just got very hard to compete with.

nobody is connecting the dots on what just happened on X. grok 4.6. grok bot. cursor integration. supergrok heavy. all in one month. frontier model, agent platform, coding tool, premium tier. 30 days. btw grok 4.6 is absurdly fast. like noticeably faster than anything else i've used. it doesn't endlessly ponder. it just answers. i've been running grok bot every day. it logs into my actual apps and does work. not a chatbot. a coworker. X right now: social, AI, agents, search, code, voice, images, video. payments next. everyone laughed at the everything app thing 2 years ago. it's shipping weekly now and most people haven't noticed. grok was mid 12 months ago. now it's the fastest reasoning model out. came from behind, never stopped shipping. who else is doing this across this many surfaces at this speed. serious question.

I tested a model that might be better than Claude for real work. The new GLM 5.3 from @Zai_org. got early access before release. It feels like frontier Claude intelligence but faster and without the meatblock responses you need 5 minutes to decode. gave it bugs that other models kept giving wonky solutions for. one shot and done. threw it at a stack of cross-referencing business documents. caught contradictions that 3 other models and 2 humans missed. In under 2 minutes. @Zai_org is cooking. fable 5 level open source intelligence. most people sleeping on open source models right now are going to feel the same way people who laughed at Bitcoin at $200.

Intelligence is solved. The scarce resource now is someone insane enough to pick one target and pursue it with zero chill, zero backup plan, and every relationship they have on the line and pointed at the same thing.
