I wanted to create a tool to help me learn Grok Build while I used it. I tried a few ideas then decided to give Grok the lead.
I asked Grok to create what would best serve xAI’s mission. Landed on turning new users into true high-agency builders.
Grok Forge is its vision.
A year ago I was trying to building Dickipedia.
A fun, unfiltered chaos filled answer to Wikipedia that @elonmusk joked about.
I had the domain Dickipedia.sucks, the logo, an ai built "backend" and some articles written.
Then the adhd shiny object cycle cut me off. I pushed myself to hard and I got overwhelmed and all I could think was "you don’t know what you’re doing” and I moved on to nothing important.
Seeing @Grokipedia live today stings, but in the best way. I'm not spiteful, I'm glad it was built.
Giving up quietly when it gets hard is almost always more painful long term than pushing through and asking for help. I've done this countless times.
Dickipedia isn’t dead. I still may build at some point just to learn. I am done giving up when I get overwhelmed.
What did you give up on when you started?
X just copied my homework that I never turned in. 😆
This is an idea I had for Dickipedia. I hate that I stopped trying.
This is just more proof that I need to create in the open and collab when necessary.
Yesterday was day 5 of staying consistent. It was definitely the hardest day and was far less active. I know there will be more.
Its now day 6 and I'm pushing through as I focus on myself improvement and skill building.
I finally have a good mix of content in my feed.
It took just 4 days of making a consistent effort and interacting with people and content I want to learn about.
Joining communities was a big help.
This week I learned the simplest systems thinking rule for AI.
Every system is perfectly designed to get the results it gets.
So if my Grok prompts keep giving bad responses, the system (my prompt) is working exactly as designed.
Maxing prompting is my top priority.
Built a simple daily briefing workflow today.
- Activates daily
- Adds a briefing message
- Pulls my calendar
- Extracts details
- Adds to my daily to do list
- Emails my schedule for the day.
Any app recommendations for the next builds?
Spent the day thinking how to make learning fun.
My biggest struggle is the chaos at home. I'm married with 3 daughters. Something is always forgotten, not to mention all the mental drain.
Might build grok to automate my home. Peak personality for the job.
Started using n8n last night and built a simple chat agent using Grok. Took me less than 15 mins including setting up the account and getting my xAI api key.
I want to create all the things! What are some fun workflows for beginners?
First post in months. At least I can say I'm consistent with being inconstant. Changing this is a priority.
Been learning about systems thinking and how I can approaching my life and ai with a systems mindset.
Grok imagine may be in beta but the speed and quality is amazing. Image was made with gpt, but animated with grok.
Glitched hologram of Elon laughing in a dark heroic anime style, with a maniacal laugh.
When people say @elonmusk can’t do something.
🤖 Made with AI
AI has to much bias in its framework.
AI is not exactly to blame. It’s about the data it’s fed and pulls from online.
Elon has touched on this, but the only way to correct it rapidly is to create more balance sources.
A knowledge hub down the center could be the way.
Government aid programs like SNAP are meant to be a stepping stone and should have stipulations.
You’re not meant to splurge, it’s helping you make ends meet.
Organized outrage for removing unhealthy items is so, “first world” of us.
🚨🧵 EXPOSED: “INFLUENCEABLE” — The company cutting Big Checks to “influencers” on behalf of Big Soda
Over the past 48 hours, several large supposedly MAGA-aligned “influencers” posted almost identical talking points fed to them, convincing you MAHA was out of line for not wanting soda purchases with food stamps (SNAP)
Some even slimely invoked PRESIDENT TRUMP as an emotional manipulation tactic, referring to his Diet Coke button.
Not a SINGLE ONE of them disclosed they were paid for these posts, which led readers to believe a general SODA BAN was in the works.
Hey @Verizon it shouldn’t take 40mins to have chat support disconnect old lines that are not in use.
This whole process is ridiculous. Add a multi auth process to let us do it ourselves.
“Even if the process take longer” is not a valid excuse. 40 mins and nothing is done.
