AI adoption is accelerating. But are we developing human capabilities at the same pace? As AI moves from predicting and generating content to increasingly taking action, organisations face a critical challenge: developing the skills and leadership capabilities needed to create value with AI. In a recent webinar in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry , Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and Global Women in AI, TRAM ANH NGUYEN, Co-Founder of CFTE - Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship and Chairwoman of Global Women in AI, explored what it takes to become a Supercharged Professional in the AI era. Drawing on CFTE's research and experience in AI education and workforce transformation, Tram Anh shared three frameworks: The CDE Innovation Prism: Understanding how AI transforms work through efficiency, enhancement and entirely new opportunities. courses.cfte.education/cfte-… The Performance Hexagon: Why moving beyond task execution towards problem-solving and systems thinking is becoming increasingly important. courses.cfte.education/cfte-… The Supercharged Capability Model: How Domain Expertise × AI Skills × Future-Proofing Skills combine to enable professionals to create greater value with AI. cfte.education/ai-chief-of-s… The key message: AI proficiency is not simply about knowing how to use tools. It is about applying AI effectively, exercising judgement and solving meaningful problems. Building on these principles, CFTE and Global Women in AI are working towards an ambitious vision: collaborating with partners in the UAE to equip 10,000 women with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to lead in AI. The proposed five-week learning journey combines AI literacy, hands-on tools, AI strategy and leadership, industry case studies and entrepreneurship. Our focus is clear: moving from AI awareness to practical capability, and from learning to real-world impact. Thank you to our partners and everyone who joined the conversation. #AILeadership #AISkills #WorkforceTransformation #WomenInAI #AIEducation

Thank you to Women in Financial Markets (WIFM) and Nomura for the kind invitation and such engaging conversations and exchange of perspectives. My key takeaway: The AI race is increasingly not just about who builds the smartest models, but who can translate intelligence into trusted infrastructure and economic value at scale. Ultimately, human judgment, leadership and trust will be critical to making this transformation successful. It was a real pleasure to share the panel with such inspiring leaders. So much to learn from one another, and a valuable reminder of the importance of bringing different perspectives together TRAM ANH NGUYEN, Lexy Kassan, Gemma Laman on stage moderated by Felicity Cui, where we explored where AI is delivering real, measurable value today and what it takes to navigate #scale, #governance, and #talent in highly regulated environments. Key takeaways: - Moving beyond pilots: #ScalingAI transformation requires moving past initial trial programs to achieve long-term, organization-wide impact. - Balancing #innovation with #governance: Maintaining strong frameworks and risk management is essential to unlocking the full potential of AI in regulated markets. - #Leadership and #inclusion shape the future: Diverse perspectives, evolving skill sets, and inclusive mindsets are critical drivers for success in the AI era. TRAM ANH shared the #Supercharged Professionals #Framework: a Supercharged Professional brings together three essential capabilities: ⭐️ Domain expertise: The judgement, context and experience that come from deeply understanding an industry. ⭐️ AI Skills: The ability to use AI to augment expertise, rethink workflows and unlock new forms of value. ⭐️ Future-proofing skills: The resilience, adaptability, curiosity and collaboration needed to continuously evolve in a changing world. But there is a fourth element that may be the hardest to develop: #mindset Thanks again to the team at Nomura and Women in Financial Markets (WIFM) for hosting such an inspiring event forum in #London together with senior leaders and with the ecosystem. #AITalent #Thoughtleadership #SuperchargedProfessionals #AILeadership #ResponsibleAI #InclusiveLeadership #London

More AI pilots do not necessarily mean more AI progress. A successful AI pilot can demonstrate what technology is capable of. But scaling AI across a financial institution requires something more. It requires moving beyond individual experiments to creating measurable business value, redesigning workflows and establishing the right foundations for responsible adoption. The real shift is from asking: “Can we make this technology work?” To asking: “Can we make it deliver value across the organisation, responsibly and consistently?” For financial-services leaders, that means thinking beyond the technology itself. Five things need to change: 1. Business priorities: From exploring interesting use cases to identifying where AI can create meaningful value. 2. Workflows: From isolated demonstrations to integrating AI into how work gets done. 3. People: From small pilot teams to building the capabilities needed for wider adoption. 4. Governance: From one-off assessments to ongoing risk management, oversight and accountability. 5. Measurement: From promising results to clearly defined and measurable business outcomes. The Monetary Authority of Singapore’s AI Risk Management Guidelines, issued on 7 October 2026, reinforce the importance of managing AI risks at both enterprise and individual use-case levels. The challenge is not simply to deploy more AI. It is to build an institution capable of using AI effectively and responsibly at scale. At CFTE, these are among the leadership questions we address through our AI Strategy for Senior Leadership in Finance programme. Join us in Singapore on 3 November 2026 to explore the strategic priorities, governance considerations and practical decisions involved in enterprise AI adoption. Singapore’s financial sector is making it clear: AI transformation is no longer only about technology adoption. It is also about leadership capability. On 24 September 2026, the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) launched its AI Workforce Co-Lab, bringing together 23 pioneer financial institutions across banking, insurance and asset management. Together, these institutions have committed to equipping their entire Singapore workforce, comprising more than 80,000 employees, with critical AI skills by 2028. More than half of these employees had already received training at the time of the announcement. But what stands out is the emphasis on leadership. Through Co-Lab@Leaders, the initiative identifies three priorities for senior decision-makers: 1. Identifying value Where can AI create meaningful business impact? 2. Establishing governance How can institutions adopt AI responsibly? 3. Transforming the workforce How should roles, skills and ways of working evolve? This reflects a broader reality across financial services. AI transformation is no longer just a technology challenge. It is a leadership responsibility. Independently, CFTE's AI Strategy for Senior Leadership in Finance programme addresses these wider leadership challenges, combining strategic insights, practical frameworks and real-world financial-services experience. Congratulations to the graduates of CFTE's inaugural AI Chief of Staff Programme in Singapore! Over eight days, they moved from prompting to steering, from using tools to building them. They set up their own Personal AI OS, connected workflows through APIs and MCP, built agents with Claude Code and Codex, and learnt where AI should act and where human judgement must lead. Alongside the technical skills, they grew in how they work: thinking more critically, experimenting before perfecting, and pushing each other as critical friends. They graduate with a portfolio of what they can now do, a record of how they've grown, and a plan for the impact they want to make. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on 6 November to hear how it's going. Thank you for your energy, curiosity and generosity with one another. Well done, all! In week one, they came with an idea. By the final weekend, they had a case their organisation could act on. For their Capstone, each participant in our inaugural AI Chief of Staff programme in Singapore took a real opportunity from their own organisation and turned it into a clear recommendation. They then showed how humans and AI would work together, the risks and controls needed, and exactly what they were asking leaders to decide, while peers and facilitators challenged their evidence, assumptions and feasibility. Along the way, they learnt to get the thinking right before letting AI do the format, to build cases on evidence rather than hope, and to map the people and dependencies that decide whether an idea gets off the ground. Graduation isn't the end, though. Everyone left with a 30-day commitment, and on 6 November we reconvene to see what has changed. Congratulations to our first AI Chiefs of Staff on a strong start, and on taking your ideas from the classroom into your organisations. Supercharge yourself. Then supercharge the organisation. Yesterday, we at CFTE made space for a different kind of conversation about AI. At DeepHumanity.AI : A Community Beta Screening in Singapore, we came together to watch the beta cut of the documentary and explore a question that becomes more important as AI grows more capable: What remains distinctly human? The conversation quickly moved beyond technology. If AI can create, should we stop creating ourselves? If it can solve the problem, is there still value in struggling through the problem? What happens to critical thinking when answers become instant? What does work mean when productivity is no longer the only constraint? Who remains accountable when AI increasingly participates in our decisions? And perhaps most importantly, are we simply experiencing this transformation, or can we remain active participants in shaping it? The evening was not about finding one answer. It was about making room for different perspectives, tensions, hopes and concerns, and recognising that we do not have to reduce the future of AI to either optimism or fear. As Siok Siok Tan reflected during the discussion, perhaps one of the most important things we can preserve in an increasingly accelerated world is something very simple: our ability to be present, to pay attention and to think for ourselves. Thank you to Siok Siok Tan, Huy NGUYEN TRIEU, the DeepHumanity.AI team and everyone who joined us and brought their own questions and perspectives into the room. This was a beta screening, but the conversation is only beginning. What do you think we should make sure remains human in the age of AI? #DeepHumanityAI #ArtificialIntelligence #HumanIntelligence #FutureOfWork hashtag#AI #HumanAgency #CFTE

Prompting was never the real skill. Designing the system of work is. That's the shift our AI Chief of Staff graduates made. Over eight days, the inaugural Singapore cohort grew from simply using AI to architecting with it. AI Architects design how the work flows, what each stage produces, and where human judgement stays in charge. Alongside that, they built STEP, the human capabilities that decide whether AI is used well: managing and evolving themselves (Self), producing high-quality thought (Thinking), turning intent into outcomes (Execution), and creating impact through others (People). Every participant graduated with three proofs of capability: - AI Capability Portfolio: what I can now do - STEP Development Report: how I now operate - AI CoS Impact Blueprint: how I create impact, with an evidence-backed recommendation for responsible organisational action The programme develops deep AI skills and strong human capabilities side by side, because one without the other isn't enough. Supercharge yourself. Then supercharge the organisation. Learn more about the programme: cfte.education/ai-chief-of-s… #AIChiefOfStaff #CFTE #FutureOfWork #AILeadership #STEP

A heartfelt thank you to Khang Nguyen Trieu for closing our inaugural AI Chief of Staff cohort with an honest, practical look at AI transformation at Banyan Group. A few takeaways that stayed with us: Lead with purpose, not productivity. AI transformation sticks when it's anchored in an organisation's values and aimed at growth, not just cutting costs. Momentum beats mandates. Start with the people who are already passionate. A small, well-run pilot can turn curiosity into demand faster than any top-down rollout. Evidence changes minds. You can't argue people out of their beliefs about AI, but one hour sitting beside a colleague and showing them what's possible can. Act within your scope of impact. You don't need a title to drive change. Run small pilots, share rough drafts early, and treat every step as learning. Thank you, Khang, for your generosity and candour, and for giving our graduates such a grounded roadmap. That's a wrap on the AI Chief of Staff Programme! Huge congratulations to our inaugural Singapore cohort on an incredible final weekend! The cohort came away knowing how to turn AI capability into real organisational impact. They learnt to get the thinking right before the format, to steer AI iteratively rather than rely on simple prompts, and to keep human judgement firmly over every conclusion. Most importantly, they discovered that AI doesn't replace skill, it changes which human skills matter most, and they now have the tools to design whole systems of work, not just use AI better. A big thank you to Khang Nguyen Trieu for joining us this week and sharing the AI transformation journey at Banyan Group. Your insights on leading with values, purpose, building momentum through small wins, and helping others grow were truly inspiring! This journey is only just beginning, and we can't wait to reconnect on 6 November to celebrate everything you've achieved!
