KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE! 🎯 VeVe partnering with Marvel to include ads for FREE digital collectibles inside the Avengers #1 blind bags was a genius move! 👏 But you know what would have made it even BETTER? Showcasing digital COMIC BOOKS instead of 3D figures! Why? Because you’re advertising to people who are already buying and collecting comic books, not necessarily 3D collectibles. Speak their language. Show them what you already KNOW they love! Imagine opening an Avengers #1 blind bag and seeing an ad featuring iconic Marvel comic covers, inviting you to expand your collection digitally. That’s a much more compelling pitch to this particular audience. To be clear, I think this is a GREAT initiative by VeVe, and I give them credit for making it happen. But the opportunity to make this ad even more effective was right there. Sometimes it’s not just about getting your product in front of people. It’s about showing the RIGHT product to the RIGHT audience.

This marks VeVe’s first move into the physical blind bag comic market, a segment that has taken the comic book world by storm and generated significant sales. The timing and character previews suggest a possible connection to the Avengers #1 True Believers blind bag launch, scheduled for November 4th. Where will collectors be able to purchase them? And will they be available directly through the VeVe app? While buying directly through VeVe would be ideal, I suspect the company may partner with an established distributor that already has the infrastructure to handle physical comic sales and fulfillment. Personally, I’m incredibly excited about this move! 🔥 The phygital experience, combining physical collectibles with digital counterparts, has tremendous potential to bridge the gap between physical and digital collecting, bringing the best of both worlds together.
