made some money now all I wanna do is tear up the American West with the boys & have 100 beers in an all american dive bar
the first time I went to “the box” in NYC - a popular club where people do insanely depraved things for “entertainment” - I started wondering why so many people pretended to like disturbing, evil things
the answer is, they don’t. they are just being subjected to an agenda.
Two years ago, at 26 years old, I surprised my dad by paying off his house, the childhood home that I grew up in. It became my biggest video ever and for the first time in my life, I saw my father cry. Seeing as he's been stoic pretty much my whole life, I was surprised to see him in such am emotional state… but that wasn't even the most surprising bit about the whole ordeal.
What surprised me the most were the thousands of comments on that video, sharing stories of lost loved ones. The heartfelt messages from sons and daughters who saw what I did for my dad and shared one of the most important messages any of us could ever read:
The time we get with the people we love is our most precious asset. Money pales in comparison. Gold doesn't come close.
And while you're "locking in," you just might be missing the little time you have left with the people who love you most.
And the bitter truth is they probably don't care whether you pay off their house or take them on a fancy vacation. They probably just want you to come over.
So if you haven't called your parents in a while, this is your sign.
Use your time wisely.
after 12 straight hours of early GTA VI gameplay, I can confidently say:
this is the greatest game of all time & none of you are ready for the surprise just one hour in.

i think for the first time in my life, there’s a legitimate chance for a third political party to emerge. ever since person 30 and younger knows the two party system is a scam
a message to anyone struggling with suicidal thoughts.
I recorded this video over a year ago and never shared it, but for some reason, I'm feeling called to put it out there now.
hope this helps someone
awww but stubhub was such likeable company before with super fairly priced tickets. what a shame. everyone loved them before this.
My take is that you shouldn’t destroy your career with an insane racist rant to impress strangers on the internet.
Head of Product at @StubHub. $400k job down the drain to impress the worst guy on the internet.
the real estate market has been so inflated since I “got money” that I simply understand nice homes to cost $5M and up.
did it use to be different?
the level of marketing Rockstar is doing for GTA VI in Miami is INSANE. every little store in the city has custom products & new decorations.
is the marketing budget just INFINITY?
if you are feeling scared/like the world is ending after reading all the recent news, take an audit of your emotions.
now understand the people who own news/social media can make you feel this way by displaying new headlines for 3 days
you are controlled. a slave to the apps in your pocket. you must resist.

Here’s “the question” this morning.
Let’s pretend there is a yuge emp pulse. Straight on. Fries basically everything digital and unhardened. I think we all understand that would be a near extinction level event.
How many of you *really* want to survive in the post-emp world?
Because I’m unconvinced I’d want to live like that indefinitely.
Post EMP we could conceivably rebuild. Maybe worth holding on for a while to see how things went. But if the event is a highly fatal respiratory virus and it’s all practical and functional wasteland. I’m not sure I’d want to live like that.
I’m not suggesting suicide nor anything worse. But if it’s going to be look out for and fight roving marauders to defend a split can of beans and corn. Idk. I’d probably be ok when the pneumonia took me out.
Plus being cold. I hate being cold. Grid down sounds like a lot of being cold.
I promise I know how to put together an indefinite survival set up. I’ve forgotten more on this topic than most of you will ever read and accumulate. Part of the reason I even moved where I did had these thoughts in mind. The likely natural disasters, the kind of people, the wind pattern as it relates to known nuclear missile ranges and cities that could or would take a direct strike, availability of freely flowing water, growing seasons. Etc etc etc.
But at the end of your day. My life is better not overly worrying about something that could happen possibly tomorrow, next week, next month, in a decade or never at all during my lifetime. Frame the worry and paranoia correctly and you’ll see that it’s not that helpful and it creates cognitive barriers to seeing the world right through confirmation bias that feeds back to your worry and paranoia.
None of this is an argument not to have 3 days of water or supplies. In the abstract. Three days isn’t enough for anything outside of a post-storm electrical outage or similar.
You can now get into navel gazing about how much supply. 2 weeks. 30 days. 3 months. A year! ??? Procuring it. Storing it. Pruning it as needed. Gaze at the navel further about the calories and macros. What you’re going to do for fruit, veggies, fiber. Etc. Will it matter. And when would it matter. Etc.
One of the things you never see talked about much is what you’d need to do for sanitation and where everyone does their excretion of normal bodily waste. It can’t be in the house. This is just one more issue that needs a lot more good thought that you might think at first blush.
Planning to “bug” out? To where? The bug out bag and your local forest will KILL you (and likely your kids). Well most of you. There are hardcases that can exist like that. Solo. Chances are if you think you are that guy, you are not. But maybe. Be honest with yourself.
Who’s going to keep the watch. You were planning to sleep, right?
Theres a lot to consider. Have a few supplies in case of a regular enough occuring storm (or earthquake) related halt in just on time deliveries and local utilities. But I don’t think going deep into the prepper rabbit hole is actually realistically helpful or productive.
Spend more time in TODAY with the people and activities you I’ve and less planning of possible shootouts at 4 way stops.
