Jim Morris

Well Jupiter has come and gone. We blew a game in the sweet 16. Up 4-1 we gave up 4 runs on 2 hits in the 6th inning. And that is taking nothing way from the Marlins they had a helluva team. We had a good run 5-1 this year and 10-1-1 in the fall. It was a pleasure getting to know the players and their parents. It’s exciting to realize that the majority of the roster will be in Ohio next summer with another chance at Jupiter. Always enjoy taking the field with our Staff and getting to see the coaches who don’t live in my area. The week went quick and was full of some great memories. Thank you to all who came to Jupiter and represented the Warhawks this past week. Now we turn to 2027. 1st and foremost we will continue our tradition of no player fees. We have some major announcements to make concerning some affiliation with a major tournament name. We will be hosting a couple of events in the summer of 2027 under their name, this includes our Boys of Summer tournament. We will also be hosting a huge showcase event for another well known organization. More details to come later. 2027 looks to be bright. 2026 has been tough. After Mrs. Donna Slusher passed away we decided it would be best to postpone the season this past summer. We got back together this fall and it was great to have Coach Slusher back with us, although it was bitter sweet not having Ms Donna around. We will forever miss her presence and will never forget all she meant to the Warhawks but to all of us on a personal level. We love and miss you Donna. We want to thank everyone for their understanding. We also want to shout out to the best volunteers in the world. Because of their efforts in helping us raise money we can continue to be us with no player fees or costs. As we head towards the end of the year we wish all of you the very best life has to offer. Sincerely, The Ohio Warhawks Coaching Staff
