Within each of us lies the ability to do anything we set our minds to. We just have to be brave enough to try. Proud. #ProjectEDucate 🚴🏻🇺🇸 idonate.ie/projecteducate

The consistency champion. The cauldron champion. The champion of clutch moments and multiple events. The European Champion. Kate O’Connor’s magnificent seven is complete. Seven consecutive championships, seven medals. She is the enemy of underperformance. irishexaminer.com/sport/othe…

A career coronation. A continent conquered. Europe belongs to Mark English. Finally. Fantastically. Emphatically. Fulfilment on the stage where he is long proven. His hands were outstretched before he hit the line. He was all alone. He was out on his own. irishexaminer.com/sport/othe…

Fantastic work as always by one of the countries best @cormicaneoghan A brilliant read.
Dara Moynihan disappeared from green & gold view these past 18 months. Caught up with him midweek to hear about his 'nightmare fucking year', needing the fiancée to put on his shoes, the unpleasant person he was when football was taken away, & what's next. irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/…

“Don’t be a dick.” One of the many takeaways from a stroke survivor session at #UKSF25, about how we can create SAFE spaces for patients. Soon followed by the poignant reminder that, “Anyone in this room could be the next survivor.” Don’t take it for granted that you’re not.

We took on challenge knowing that both of us covering 154KM non stop, meant a high chance of failure. Ultimately, after almost 20 hours on our feet non stop, we called it a day. Grateful to all for their donations. Looking forward to having another crack at the WHW soon.

154K non stop on the West Highland Way. That’s the plan starting tomorrow morning at 5AM. Trying to raise a few quid for the Jack and Jill foundation. This one is going to hurt. gofund.me/6ebca55c

Attended last week's GPA Pride brunch not as a sportswriter but as a gay man. And so I never intended to write about the day. But such was the courage displayed by the men present, I’d be letting myself down if I didn’t use my platform to follow their lead irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/…

My good friend Jimmy and I are taking on a bit of a challenge on the 19th/20th July. The West Highland Way is a 154KM trail in Scotland which we’re going to try and complete non stop in one push. All donations to the Jack and Jill Foundation welcome. gofundme.com/f/cormac-and-ji…

It's fascinating to see where technology could take neurological rehabilitation. We're currently researching what brain activity looks like when patients are using exoskeletons. The end goal in the research field is an assistive gait device powered by a patients brain signals.
