September is drawing to a close, time for another recap
🧵
My revenue goal was again €200, and I'm very happy to say that I've finally reached it! 🥳
Primary goal for this month was again to launch as many apps as possible. Done exactly that, a month of rock solid growth!📈
October ✅ 🧵
My goal for this month was to try and optimise what I already had, trying to bump up my CR and impressions.
I didn't succeed unfortunately 🥲
Revenue goal: €400 ❌
The month started really well, at the end of the previous month I started running ads for one of my apps and it converted great in the first week.
The next week, I added a few more keywords and the CR just plummeted. My budget was gone within a few days.
Only ~15–20% of my trials currently convert to paid 🕵️♂️
Started tracking more events this week and noticed many cancel right after their first identification.
Added a quick feedback form to learn why. Let’s see what happens 👀
October goals update:
- published the 1 app I wanted to publish, no more this month
- my trial cancellation rate is quite high at 85/90%, now fixing that
I've implemented a funnel to determine what is causing this high rate. I simply do not know yet, need to find out first
I think the phrase "growth is not linear" is fitting here.
Though I would rephrase it as "growth does not feel linear", because in many ways it is. It's a matter of focusing on the right measure.
Plan for September 📆
- release 3 more identifier apps: antique, coin & bird
- release image editing app (nano banana 📷)
- improve store conversion rates
I'm getting about 8-10k impressions monthly but only doing ~200 downloads. Big wins to be made📷🤯
While august is coming to a close, it's time to recap.
🧵
My revenue goal for the month was €200, there's 2 days left and I'm not going to make that. Just shy of 100 currently.
The goal for the month was to launch as many identifier apps as possible.
About the launch, it's only day 3 but installs are very very minimal. It's a flop. 55 installs, 3 trials.
Almost all canceled.
0 installs from the golden goose, USA.
