Wow- powerful accusations but I have to admit- I agree w some of it . For months I’ve been begging members of Congress to pass a single issue bill requiring voter ID, which 80% of the country agrees with. Don’t muck it up with other requirements- just voter ID and make the Dems vote against it. Such a requirement would deter some folks from voting illegally- and it would fulfill a promise made to MAGA voters. the Senate should have done that - and also passed another reconciliation bill cutting some taxes like indexing for capital gains- that would help housing. Senate leadership was inert and I personally am not sure they wanted Trump to succeed

You had the chance to begin the process of saving our election system from the radical left. By passing the SAVE America Act. But K Street either didn’t care or opposed it. So why bother, right?
Because the GOP Senate only does what can be monetized via those endless lobbyist dinners / fundraisers. If it can’t raise you money? Probably not worth doing.
And you BERATED @BasedMikeLee for trying to get you to work full weeks, to try to pass the SAVE America Act. Or to work a weekend sometime. Or not to recess for weeks in March and then again recess for a month in August. You and your fellow GOP Senators told him that nobody cared about the SAVE America Act. That he needed to sit down and shut up.
And the American people watched you, day after lazy, do-nothing day. And how you literally could not come up with a single idea to manage the Senate rules to get the bill passed. You just could not figure it out. Because you really didn’t and don’t care. And because you just are clueless.
What’s all the fuss, you say. It’s not a big deal to you that our election system has been taken over and manipulated by the left. That aliens by the hundreds of thousands are on our voter rolls, that there are illegal votes by the thousands in the election results…and that it matters. It matters to the USA. So now, you don’t have to worry about it. You don’t have to be in charge of producing meaningful results for the American people. They just sent you to your room without any supper. If you haven’t read @JDVance tweet this morning I urge you to do it! Vance lays out 4 reasons why the Republicans got walloped yesterday and of course 2 were the war and ISRAEL! I mean it wouldn’t be a Vance tweet without at least one shot directed at our best ally in the world! I met with the guy and neither Israel or @TuckerCarlson ever came up in our conversation. Why? The fact that a few million people voted for El-Sayed, despite his ties to terror-aligned groups, and actual such groups, Hasan Piker, and with full Democrat Party support, is truly shocking. If this doesn't alarm the rest of the country, beyond the borders of Michigan, we have a very serious problem. This illustrates a cultural malady that has metastasized due to a number of failures of our ruling class at all levels -- including immigration, academia, local-government zoning, etc. Most of all, the Democrat Party wants to turn our country into France.

In addition, Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, Ron DeSantis, Pete Hegseth, Glenn Youngkin, and a surprising number of people may decide this is their chance to take advantage of the chaos of the shocking defeat and seek to be the champion who can rescue the party and the country.
