An advisory issued by I4C warns about AI-assisted cyber attacks targeting Banks, NBFCs and FinTech platforms through unpatched software and poorly secured systems.
Such attacks can lead to unauthorised transactions, customer data theft and misuse of mule accounts to transfer stolen funds.
Financial institutions are advised to strengthen security systems, monitor suspicious transactions, verify beneficiaries and report cyber incidents within the prescribed timelines.

अगर किसी registered company या bank के नाम से आया SMS अचानक betting, gambling, bonus, withdrawal या unknown Link की बात करे, तो सबसे पहले यही देखें - क्या Message का content उस sender से logically match करता है?
ऐसे cases में सिर्फ़ sender name देखकर trust न करें। TRAI Header Information Portal पर header details Verify करें, 1909 पर sender details Check करें और suspicious SMS को Report करें
