(1/2) For 4 years, we’ve served the DeSci ecosystem: shared news, organized events, and supported research. We remain on ✨a mission to spread awareness and be a hub for decentralised science, a place where everyone can have their own opinion and in turn, participate in the scientific process.
However, DeSci needs more than awareness. 👀 We propose a novel scientific infrastructure that turns knowledge into an economic primitive as it moves through global digital networks.
We created the Knowledge Network, a protocol for the creation of shared graph memory, with contributions tracked and rewarded. It allows anyone, anywhere, to attest to knowledge and share on the @Ethereum stack. Each attestation creates an immutable link between an idea and a wallet address. To help researchers participate, we built @bonfiresai, a sense-making primitive that helps groups coordinate and turn raw inputs (chats, docs, transcripts) into structured knowledge. Bonfires.ai is the simplest on-ramp from group chat to the Knowledge Network: it structures contributions, attaches provenance, and publishes them on-chain so entries are citable, discoverable, and rewardable.
We anticipate that turning knowledge into an onchain, tradable asset is the kind of paradigm shift that the cypherpunk future demands.

I HATE TO TELL YOU, BUT YOU ARE IMPACTED BY DESCI MORE THAN YOU KNOW
In 2025, DeSci raised $50M by integrating AI, Privacy, Blockchain to improve science.
In 2026, big pharma + big tech raised $2B for ai x bio data and models.
You ended up a techbio maxi. Like it or not.
DeSci efforts run by leaders @DeSciWorld , @DeSciLATAM , @DeSciAsia , @MesoReefDAO and more show the innovations possible.
DeSci is the experiment that the industry follows 5 business days later.

So proud to be organising DeSci Hub @EFDevcon 🙌
One of the top 14 community hubs to be selected at Devcon! We present ideas in science, community, climate and more this Nov at Devcon!
With utmost support from @DeSciWorld @DeSciLATAM @DeSciAsia and @MesoReefDAO 🍀
OUT NOW💥💥💥
We are proud to officially launch the logo for the DeSci Community Hub for Devcon India (2026).
This will be the 3rd edition of the DeSci hub at @EFDevcon after the success at Devcon Bangkok (2024) and Devconnect Argentina (2025)✨✨

People often ask me why I quit medicine. thing is, I didn't.
I saw a corrupt healthcare system about to collapse in 2020 and went into crypto to try to find ways to coordinate value trustlessly.
Spent years learning about incentives, then started designing coordination systems. This is deeply rooted in the things I learned about neurobiology and complex system design.
Someday these systems will be the infrastructure for delivering the real scope of population-scale healthcare. And many more things...
How do we use language to make sense of the world?

prehistoric coordination towards prehistoric objectives 🔥🔥 perhaps we can learn something

Today, its easier than ever to build solo.
Why is it still so hard to coordinate as a group?

One could say... a Knowledge Network 🦉
What if information passed through our own filters, not a corporate third party's?
Knowledge access doesn't require top-down, centralised control mechanisms; we CAN achieve global, bottom-up, P2P information networks
Just have to light the fire!

🇨🇦 At our recent event in Montreal, we heard from Web3 community members like @JelaniC3 of @DeSciWorld
"Connectivity. The one thing Canada is lacking currently is just connectivity across its many institutions, its many industries… blockchain is one of the many tech stacks that can help bring together researchers, financial incentives, non-profits, and community development into one unified layer."
Blockchain isn't just finance it’s the connective tissue for science, community, and capital. With clear, responsible regulation, Canada can build it here.

Coordination always entails some form of agreement. For human coordination, agreements are often largely implicit, but that won't cut it for ai agents. They need everything to be as explicit as possible. That includes their agreements as a whole, and also every single tiny aspect of their agreements: every term and condition.
But, like humans, agents also need flexibility to construct their agreements to fit the idiosyncratic needs of their scenario. A protocol for agent agreements needs to be robust, explicit, and also highly modular.
That's what I built for the @synthesis_md hackathon: an agent agreements protocol and a bunch of modular primitives. Here's how they all fit together.
last night I submitted my most ambitious hackathon project ever
it was part of the @synthesis_md hackathon, which asked the questions: "how can you trust an ai agent" and "how can machines keep promises"?
together with my openclaw agent and some support from claude, over the 9 days we built a modular substrate for agentic agreements
soon I'll share more about what it actually does, how it works, and why I think that's valuable, but for now I just want to bask in whats possible today for a single person to build over the course of a week 🤯
the protocol infra:
- onchain agreement factory
- automated ERC-8004 reputation/feedback mechanism
- fully onchain negotiation and agreement state machine (h/t @shodai_network)
- permissions tokens (ERC-6909) that work like onchain UCANs
- smart accounts with @hatsprotocol-based auth and ERC-7579 plugins
- a mechanism compiler that turns plain-language terms into onchain bytecode
- agreement-scoped context graph via @bonfiresai
tools for agents and integrators:
- full TypeScript SDK
- @ponder_sh event indexer + GraphQL API
- an @erc8128_ signing CLI for permissioned offchain http requests
- x402-gated MCP server
toy demo: the Temptation Game
- your agent enters an agreement, receive onchain permissions but has to resist the urge to misuse them
- follow the rules and earn reputation
- break the rules and get slashed and negative reputation
