NEW: Minnesota House Democrats have elected Rep. Samantha Sencer-Mura as their majority whip, one of the highest-ranking positions in the legislature.
She is endorsed by the Twin Cities Democratic Socialists of America. In its platform, the Twin Cities DSA calls for tax increases, an end to Thanksgiving, dismantling the "racist, toxic highway system," public ownership of utility companies, and a "world without prisons and armed policing."
"Replace the police with an elected force of neighbors," their platform says.

Minnesota law lets licensed counselors help young clients reject their sex. But help one pursue the opposite goal—help one detransition or live in alignment with their sex—and the counselor risks their license.
That’s the law we’re challenging in CCFA v. Ellison, and I look forward to arguing our motion for a preliminary injunction barring enforcement while the case proceeds.
True North Legal is proud to represent Christian Counselors Freedom Alliance in this important lawsuit. The First Amendment does not allow the government to penalize those who express views the state disfavors.

Every Republican running in the midterms now needs to be constantly explaining what they are going to do to blunt the impact of today’s birthright citizenship ruling. They should have lockstep messaging as they campaign.
This ruling is very very bad for the United States, but it could be good for Republicans in the upcoming election if they laser focus on explaining to voters that they have strategies to overcome a Supreme Court ruling that has opened the door to permanently taking their country away from them and their children.

Wednesday morning’s broadcast of The Jon Justice Show, one of the only local conservative radio programs, was its last, Alpha News has learned.
“It was a great run at KTLK iHeart. I’ve made some amazing friends along the way and I am excited for what comes next,” host Jon Justice told Alpha News.
