Yeah it’s ideal that your financiers are immediately saying “yeah yeah nothing is signed yet” over your $40 billion deal
Elon Musk has claimed that SpaceX closed a $40 billion debt deal to pay for the chips it needs to fuel its AI ambitions. However, people familiar with the matter said the parties were still engaged in pricing discussions as of Sunday and the deal had not yet closed. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Nope! But thanks for asking.
You ever just sit in a dark room and feel like the darkness is the only thing that truly understands you. No fake smiles, no false hope. Just raw bitter silence…

It’s just that easy folks! #justdoit #simpleas
You can fix america in under 4 years: Year 1- Raise taxes 10%. Cut spending 10%. This will lead to a budget surplus. Pay down a small amount of debt. Year 2- Stay the course. Do not buckle, start new wars, start spending. Pay down another small chunk of debt. Year 3- The bond market sees we are serious. Interest rates will fall to zero. literally as low as we have ever seen. With it, mortgage rates go down to covid levels. Economy grows 5%+. Year 4- Refinance all outstanding debt. Bumps up rates, but still well under what spot is now. By the end of the 4 years, the US economy is growing faster than anyone else on earth. Borrowing costs are at all time lows. The extra tax revenue more than covers the short term cuts we had to do. everyone is richer, we secure another 250 years of the american empire, there is more money for everything. At any point, any political party can do this. but its like cooking a meal vs doordashing taco bell. Its harder to do, so no one does it.

Okay that’s two guys who have said it now, if this is really the case coreweave is toast outside of whatever plan Blackstone can concoct
$NBIS CEO Arkady Volozh Says Debt Markets Closed for Neoclouds Since Last Week "We have a pretty healthy balance sheet. We always thought about being more conservative here. We used all kinds of instruments. From last week, probably some of the capital sources are temporarily closed, like the asset-backed or debt market. But we're working now with customer advances and several other instruments, which will probably provide us enough finance to build this gigawatt at least."

Despite the significant investments ploughed into artificial intelligence it has provided “zero payoff” to corporate America outside of technology, according to Apollo's Chief Economist Torsten Slok. Read more: bloom.bg/3UeNZMq 📷: Victor J. Blue/Bloomberg

If there is infinite demand for compute how is this going to be possible
Replying to @Yuchenj_UW
I think we’re going to see a lot of stranded compute in partially complete data centers

Genuine question, and I am coming to no conclusions: is this commonplace? If so how common? Because if it’s common it feels like the compute bullwhip effect
Heard from a neolab friend: “Even if we fail to train the best model, we locked in GPU capacity early. H100/B200/B300 rental prices have since gone up 2–3x. We can just resell the compute and print money.” OK, so that’s the business model.

Also I feel like there’s no clearer bubble signal than someone’s backup plan being “I’ll just sell it”
