It’s Halloween, everyone’s entitled to one good scare. 🎃
The movie of movies for spooky season. Being able to watch this on VHS changes the entire experience. This might be a comfort film for me at this point.

I’m all in on the cult following of this movie. I got the VHS version online and it made me love it even more. What a treat on Halloween!🎃

When thinking of legacy sequels, this is one of the few that get it right. It has its silly moments, but the kills and action are solid and there are some great visuals throughout.

I can’t believe I’ve not watched this until now. This was terrific and everything I had hoped it would be. Campy goodness that had me disappointed it was over. For sure revisiting this one each spooky season.

Watched this on vhs on a 13 inch Orion tv/vcr combo from the 90’s and it healed something in my soul.

A lot of shared beats with Hill House the way the past and the present intertwine. The difference is Hill House stuck the landing where this fumbled the last 5 minutes.

I was pleasantly surprised at how many decent jump scares this had. Another 90’s slasher that holds help decently well for the time period. My favorite part of these late 90’s movies is the minimal technology.

Robert Eggers has a new film coming out this Christmas & it’s another reason why I keep insisting that 2026 is such a beautiful year for Cinema. Eggers’ next film is Wewulf & is another medieval horror film. The last time we heard from Eggers, he gave us Nosferatu, a film I believe is an undeniable masterpiece. I’m extremely excited for Eggers to join 2026.
As late 90’s slasher as you can get. Really enjoyed this one and probably going to visit some other late 90’s/early 2000’s slashers. Tip of the hat to some solid horror cameos!

I remembered enough from watching it when it came out to know the plot, but totally forgot about the ending. Cool premise and John Cusack loves haunted hotels(1408) and being a limo driver (2012).

The title “Days of Future Past” is so cool and sets the stage for one of the best superhero movies. I hope they do this years down the road with the OG Avengers and the inevitable reboot cast.

Loved how this movie looked. Straight to the point and nothing extra. It was creepy and unsettling in the most 70s way. Definitely revisiting this one again.

I’m gonna have to watch this a couple more times to really form a proper review. In the mean time, this is all I have…..”huh?”

Felt like an episode of American Horror Story. Crazy concept. Fantastic cinematography. Just 30-40 minutes too long. The first act I was all in. The second act started to drag. By the third act I was just waiting for it to end.
