Access hardening: file bytes need a scoped JWT; previews sit on an authenticated path. EXIF leaves on download, not view. OAuth consent shows the scope the app actually requested, including unrecognized strings.

Desktop 0.5 (macOS): uploads run in parallel (files and chunks; default 4, up to 16). Finder on large accounts dropped a lot of needless DB work. Network requests time out so a hung call can't freeze sync forever.

Search now has a mode: filename, content, or both (CLI gets globs too). Filenames go to 255 characters with real character counts, not UTF-16 units that cut emoji and non-Latin names wrong. Large PDFs window page by page instead of a white page.

Desktop 0.5.2 + 0.5.3 (macOS): deletes wait for server confirmation before leaving disk, concurrent edits stop resolving by "who synced last," and Finder listings no longer queue behind background work (one 2.5 KB open had taken 62s).
