Worried about #flooding? Remember flood water can enter via your air bricks first. Use duct tape, aluminium tape or flood tape to stop it. You can also use it up & across doors

One of the lowest entry points for surface water #floods is through the air bricks. Aluminum tape will reduce the amount of water that gets in.

I have long advocated for every one to have a 'grab bag' in case of having to leave a home during a flood. just as important if you have to leave your home due to a wild fire! We all need one!

After the heat will come thunder storms & heavy rain. Be prepared for #surfacewater #floods especially if you live in a basement flat in #London or have a paved driveway. The rain could hit the solid ground & come into your home, as we saw earlier this week!
