I am excited about the Board's decision as it reflects the institution North Central has become while preserving the identity that means so much to the Cardinals who got us to this point. North Central remains North Central. The NC stays on our helmets. The traditions, relationships, and standards that define this program aren't changing. My staff and I are excited as ever to recruit student-athletes who want to compete while earning a degree from an exceptional university with a 165-year tradition of academic and athletic excellence. I've spent my life in Naperville, and it's one of the first things we talk about when recruiting student-athletes. This name reflects who we are, where we're from, and where we're headed. Proud to be a North Central Cardinal. Proud to be in Naperville. #WeAreNC
