Why isn’t voice dictation a fixed problem, deeply integrated in a MacBook/iPhone?
Isn’t that the point of all the local “neural engine” chip investment?
Local models are really good now.
Binance hacked.
$5.6B stolen in multiple cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron most of them.
Several protocols proactively freezing.
We are aware of reports of a potential security issue and we are actively investigating.
Our security teams are reviewing all relevant information with urgency, and we will provide updates through official Binance channels as soon as we have verified information. Users should remain cautious of scams and should not trust unofficial links, messages, or requests for account information.

AI can do magic.
But it's not exactly what you want.
So, you build rules, code, guidance. A "harness".
It works, but it needs polish.
You polish, and polish, and polish.
It gets better.
New model release.
It's incredible. More powerful.
Makes your harness obsolete.
You let your harness go.
All that work...
But it's not quite there yet.
AI can do magic.
But it's not exactly what you want...
So.

Better than Opus 5.5 (on benchmarks)
But. #1 in Artificial Analysis v5. That’s a big deal.

I've been using Wispr Flow a lot. A LOT.
This week I've been trying to never use dictation and write by keyboard again. It feels easier to think while typing. My mind hurts less.
I'm going to try to stop using Wispr Flow.

Twitter today forced me to add a "Paid Partnership" label to a tweet that was in no way paid. (I have never accepted money for tweets, blog posts, or any other kind of promotion.)
The tweet in question was about Kim K3.1 Pro. It was an RT of Artifical Analysis with a factual claim.
Twitter locked my account, and informed me that the only way to unlock it was to add the Paid Partnership label to that tweet, despite it not being a paid partnership. Only after admitting to something untrue can one appeal.
I applied the label. Ignore it. I have never tweeted for money and never will.
I understand that Moonshot AI has paid people to tweet positively about Kimi. That doesn't make all tweets about it paid partnerships. It's dissappointed to have my account suspended for that reason, and to have no option other than to add a bogus 'Paid Partnership' label to an unpaid tweet as the only way to get account access back.

Fix the security issues on your server with this prompt for Codex/GPT-6 Astra. You can try Claude Code/Opus 5.5 too but the stupid auto classifier may block you.
You need to have connected your Codex project to your server via ssh before.
"Go online and research all the things that have happened in information security in the past 5 days. Today is October 24, 2026. Then fix any security issues everywhere in the server. Ask me questions if you need to."
I think this is correct.
All software in the world will go through hardening in the next few months. There’s no other realistic choice.
Cloudflare is about to have their best year ever.
The only way out is through.
They're calling it the Bugpocalypse. LLMs are being used to find long-hidden cracks in the software infrastructure, and it's happening at a furious rate. 3% of all compromises in computing history happened in the last week, claims one source? I believe it.
There are people saying public access to the frontier models ought to be locked out, or heavily guardrailed, over this. The problem with that idea can be summed up in one sentence: when lockpicks are outlawed, only outlaws will have lockpicks.
The lockpicks will be Chinese open-weight models, if nothing else. There's no way to stop those from becoming ubiquitous.
There are two futures in front of us. One in which only the bad guys have lockpicks, and security holes go undiscovered until they're exploited. Another in which everybody has lockpicks and is aggressively red-teaming their own software so it gets fixed before the holes are exploited.
The corpus of human code is huge but finite. The number of defects in it has to be finite too. We can fix those defects now; we have a million friendly robots to do it with.
The only way out is through.
Samsung TVs look for microphones in your house via Bluetooth and then spy events like dogs barking or babies crying. They also spy what you do on YouTube and other apps.

Why is the internet broken today?
1. The Indian certificate authority picked "4" as the password of their SSL certificates. Yes, 4
2. PHP and Node.js have a critical vulnerability
3. Some guy disclosed it before the fixes were released
4. More vulnerabilities have been discovered in the past 24 hours at the same time
