Leer que PlayStation está “considerando” echarse atrás en su decisión de terminar con el formato físico, no me dice nada.
Se han pasado 3 largos meses vacilándonos e ignorándonos de mil formas, tratando de manipular la opinión global y en definitiva, traicionando a los jugadores totalmente.
La única noticia aceptable en este punto para que un consumidor responsable recupere aunque sea un ápice de su confianza en Sony son:
➡️ La disculpa y posterior dimisión de TODA su dirección.
➡️ La restitución de políticas de transparencia y diálogo con nosotros.
➡️ La promesa de mantener el formato físico completo, sin hardwares externos, codes in a box y demás medidas que apestan a corporativismo pro-solo-digital.
Si no se les ve interesados en cuidar del formato que más nos respeta, es imposible que ellos mismos estén interesados en respetarnos a nosotros.
Si tan preocupados están por todo el backlash y por su reputación, este es el único camino que vamos a aceptarles.

As confirmed earlier through our official channels, in mid-June of this year, we unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel the PHYSINT project. PHYSINT is an important project both to me personally and to KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Determined to keep the project alive, we have spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner. In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields, we found in XBOX a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future, and we have decided to team up with them once again. Please rest assured that development of PHYSINT, our genre-defining action-espionage title, is ongoing and will continue moving forward.

The Era of Unrepairable Consoles is Here !!!
Another broken PS5 console with system boot failure and zero ways to fix it permanently. Where are technicians even supposed to source replacement memory chips from? A donor board that likely failed for the exact same reason, leaving you with no idea how long the "fix" will last. It makes repairs completely pointless.
These machines aren't cheap. Back in the PS3 and PS4 eras, a drive failure was fast fix swap the drive, reinstall the OS, done. Major hardware locks were rare.
Today, anticonsumer design turns expensive tech into disposable junk the moment a single chip gives out.

Un usuario de Google Play dice que compró la trilogía extendida de El Señor de los Anillos y que de repente desapareció de su biblioteca después de que Google la retirara de su catálogo.
Según capturas de pantalla compartidas por el usuario, el soporte de Google confirmó que las películas ya no estaban disponibles y dijo que no podían emitir un reembolso porque la compra se realizó en 2022, lo que está fuera de la ventana estándar de 120 días para reembolsos de la compañía.
“Las compré en 2022, de repente ya no están disponibles y no hay posibilidad de un reembolso o tarjeta de regalo. Apenas parece justo.”
Una razón más para apoyar el formato físico.

🔴Sony is facing various class action lawsuits accusing them of monopoly of digital storefronts
According to reporter Christopher Dring, Sony is facing legal trouble because the PlayStation Store controls the majority of digital game sales. There are 3 major lawsuits at the moment:
-The United Kingdom wants to charge 2.7$ billion, claiming that sony is abusing the presence of the PlayStation Store as the only place to buy digital goods from PlayStation
-The Netherlands: Demands that Sony charge fair prices for digital goods because they have the monopoly over digital games.
-United States: Recently settled with the Sony for 7$ million to stop retailers for selling download codes instead of phisical copies of games in their stores

🔴Ubisoft Barcelona lays off 51 employees after the release of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
According to a worker in the Barcelona division of Ubisoft, their team was the one in charge of making all the underwater levels of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. In the same tweet they confirmed that the whole team will be laid off.
The team has already confirmed they will be protesting outside the offices of the company, knowing that this move by Ubisoft is unfair, especially after knowing that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has sold over 2 million copies.

🔴New images reveal the designs for the zombies in the upcoming Resident Evil movie.
Directed by Zach Cregger, the mind behind the acclaimed Weapons, this new movie will act as a reboot of the saga in the film industry. According to Cregger in an interview for Empire, it will follow, as he declared, "an idiot" in the video game sense of things, "no combat abilities and incapable of surviving," named Bryan.
The move will take place in the popular Racoon City, where Bryan will have to survive th zombies, or as this movie calls them, "infected," that attack him in every corner.
Along with the interview, Cregger gifted Empier with a new image of the film set where we can see the design for one of the infected.
