✨ “Imagine if we could share skills so that there would be at least a group of capable, connected investigative journalists in every country of the world.” That was the vision of @nmulvad and @branthouston when they launched the first Global Investigative Journalism Conference 25 years ago. Now, 25 years later the legacy of that first gathering and the 13 others since is evident in accountability projects, new regional journalism associations, innovative newsroom approaches, and collaborative strategies around the globe. To mark the 25th anniversary of the first Global Investigative Journalism Conference, we reached out to a range of speakers and attendees to ask their reflections on the historic event, and on how it affected their careers, and their craft.
