Through the Gender Equality Fund (GEF) project, Brokline Foundation (BLF) conducted a Key Informant Interview and facility assessment in Ukana Iba 🇳🇬.

We are strengthening adolescent-responsive healthcare, one facility at a time!
Healthcare workers trained by Gem Hub Initiative on Adolescent and Youth-Friendly Health Services have successfully cascaded the training to their colleagues, expanding knowledge.
As part of the session, matrons also introduced and distributed the national guidelines on integrating adolescent healthcare into Primary Health Care, which were printed and provided by Gem Hub for facility use.
The GEF Ambassador attended the Intimate and Gender-Based Violence Workshop in Abuja, engaging in discussions on the impact of the Gender Equality Fund on adolescent girls and young women in Nigeria and the need for strengthened GBV services.

Our work under the Gender Equality Fund is progressing!
This month, @Yplus_Global supported the @anayd_africa in convening 14 GEF grantees in Abuja.
The coordination meeting was critical for strengthening GEF implementation in Nigeria and consolidating project gains and impact.
Our HER Voice Fund Ambassador from Lesotho 🇱🇸 Patience Mashona was recognized as an Outstanding Gender Equality Champion in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026!!! She is also as the youngest recipient of this award. 🔥
This recognition from the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development, United Nations Population Fund in Lesotho, and Vodacom Foundation Lesotho is a reminder that the work we do to advance gender equality, youth leadership, and SRHR truly matters.
