🗨️ What were the most inspiring messages you took away from the 2024 NEC Conference?
💡 One quote that stayed with us is from Richard Jones, Deputy Director of @UNDP_Evaluation.
During the #NECdev plenary session on #evaluation systems and the future, he described the kind of future he envisions. We couldn't help but relate.👇
ALT Photo of Richard Jones, Deputy Director of the UNDP Independent Evaluation Office. Accompanying quote reads: "I want my children to have a future that has optimism, that has a better world, so that they won’t face the same problems that I’m seeing today... conflict, inequality, upheaval, and a sense of pessimism about our future. Evaluation has an important and essential role in shaping that future and informing that future."
