CFB Friday is about to get crazy.
Streaking teams, wild line movement, and some BIG upsets to look out for...
1. WE KNOW WHO'S GETTING UPSET
🚨UPSET WATCH
Every dog tonight has gotten shorter since open. Here's how each one pulls it off:
🐸 TCU +230 @ #22 Arizona. The biggest moneyline move of the night: +269 at retail open, and Pinnacle went +289 → +238. Arizona is coming off a 34-26 loss, and its 6-2 record is built on Noah Fifita (2,481 yds, 19 TD, 4 INT) throwing for 324 a game. TCU allows 174.6 pass yds/g and has a pass rush led by Koron Hayward (5.5 sacks). If TCU makes this a 20-17 game, Jaden Craig (276 pass yds/g) only needs one late drive
🔶 Illinois +160 vs Nebraska. It opened +179, and the spread came down 6.5 → 4.5. The teams are heading opposite directions: Illinois has won 3 straight, and Nebraska has lost 3 straight, with its scoring down from 32.4 ppg on the season to 22.3 over the last 4 (10 last week). Anthony Colandrea has 7 INTs. Illinois has the best player on the field in Collin Dixon (60-781, 10 TD)
🦃 Virginia Tech +180 @ SMU. It opened +188, and SMU slid -6.5 → -5.5. VT's path is the front seven. It allows 93.4 rush yds/g (12th) against an SMU offense built on Kendrick Raphael (692 yds, 9 TD), and averages 3.25 sacks/g, led by Aycen Stevens with 8. Ethan Grunkemeyer has thrown 2 INTs all year, while SMU gives it away 1.38 times a game. SMU is 2-4 ATS and coming off a 30-27 loss
🐺 Nevada +320 vs New Mexico. It opened +361 at retail. New Mexico is a run team (213 rush yds/g) that can't throw: 148 pass yds/g, and Toa Fa'avae has completed 58% with 7 INTs to 6 TDs. Load the box, and the Lobos have to win with their arm.
