Iranian authorities’ arbitrary execution of Amirhossein Ebrahimi Analojeh and Amirhossein Maleki on 3 November, convicted in relation to the January 2026 protests, is horrific. They were sentenced to death by a Revolutionary Court after a torture-tainted grossly unfair trial. 1/4
Iran’s authorities executed at least 34 people in connection to the Jan 2026 uprising after unfair trials. At least 20 others are at imminent risk of protest-related executions after the Supreme Court upheld their death sentences. Many more remain at risk. amnesty.org/en/documents/mde…

Iran’s regime is struggling with factional infighting, student and worker #protests, medicine shortages and mounting economic hardship. Yet it continues trying to project military strength against regional and international adversaries. Its inability to manage these simultaneous crises exposes growing vulnerabilities at home. NCRI Statement: Iran's Regime Executes Two 20-Year-Old January Uprising Prisoners in #Isfahan

This morning, the clerical regime executed 20-year-olds Amir Hossein Maleki and Amir Hossein Ebrahimi over the “Alikhani Square” protests in Isfahan during the January 2026 uprising.
Faced with growing resistance, the regime uses violent executions of PMOI/MEK political prisoners and rebellious protesters to instill fear and crush another uprising by the people of Iran. Such cruelty, however, only strengthens the resolve of young Iranians fighting for freedom against religious fascism.
I call on the United Nations, member states, and international human rights organizations to take urgent action to stop these political executions. I reiterate the need to prosecute the regime's criminal leaders and judges for five decades of crimes against humanity.
