Hey yo! Another reason why MBTS is in the final two for me to hopefully tackle the DMin. I took a cohort on preaching with Jared and it was super helpful.
DMin students at @MBTS will home in on the gospel as the central theological foundation & practical starting point for ministry. We spend as much time on spiritual formation, personal disciplines, & spiritual maturity as we do practical ministry. mbts.edu/article/jared-wilso…

"To stay away from Christianity because part of the Bible's teaching is offensive assumes God wouldn't have any views that upset you." - Timothy Keller
First visit to the Beehive State was awesome. States left I’ve yet to visit: Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, West Virginia. If your church or event in those places would be interested in having me speak, go to jaredcwilson.com/booking! 😉
“The LORD says this: ‘I will return to Zion and live in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City; the mountain of the LORD of Armies will be called the Holy Mountain’.” - Zechariah 8:3 CSB
“No Christian will get to heaven and think all they went through on earth wasn’t worth it.” A blessing to preach at FBC Provo this morning.
“We have this treasure in jars of clay.” Preaching “God’s Purposes in Suffering” from 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 this morning at First Baptist Church of Provo, Utah. Jesus, be big!

"It’s not the job of the Christian preacher to give people moral or psychological pep talks abt how to get along in the world; someone else can do that. Most of our people have no one in the world to tell them week in & week out abt the supreme beauty & majesty of God." - Piper
