Ben Appel’s WSJ piece “I’m Gay, but That Doesn’t Make Me ‘Queer’” is excellent and necessary.
@benappel bravely stating what so many of us feel. Our sexuality doesn’t require rejecting what’s normal and legitimate. It doesn’t force us to embrace “queer” ideology or become an identity insurgent. He nails it. Queer theory isn’t gay rights; it’s a misguided rejection of shared human values and reality itself.
It’s rare to see this perspective from a gay male in mainstream media. Well done, Ben.
I’m in The Wall Street Journal today.
I’m Gay, but That Doesn’t Make Me ‘Queer’
“My sexuality doesn’t obligate me to embrace a particular ideology or to reject the moral inheritance of the society that made my life possible.”

This jackass.
Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.

James O’Keefe on the Felony Charges for Exposing Fraud in Minnesota:
This is not political. It is fundamental. It is about whether citizens still have the right to question their government. This is now a landmark First Amendment case, and every American’s right to speak truth to power has been put on the line.
Weaponized lawfare does not work against me. It has always backfired on the people who come after me. Most people find criminal charges and lawsuits stressful; the process becomes a form of punishment. But I love this process because it gives me the opportunity to expose injustice at the highest levels. My foundation will be indemnifying members of the Justice League, including @camhigby for their lawful reporting.
I’m calling on all Americans, and especially all journalists, to stand united on a message to the prosecutors in Minnesota: the politics of fear will not prevail in the United States of America.

Democrats went from being pro homosexuality to making gay a scandal in 24 hours.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The same people who treat “outing” as sacred when it serves them, and who lecture everyone else about privacy and consent, are weaponizing a dead man’s private life to smear a living candidate. This isn’t about truth or accountability. It’s a dying party grasping at straws because they have nothing left on policy. Darline Graham isn’t her brother. Attacking a corpse to hurt her is just the latest proof they have no moral line left.
So, how long have conservative groups like @TPUSA known Lindsey Graham was gay and desperate to keep that hidden? How long did they know he had sex with underaged boys? Did they know about the tapes? Do they have the tapes? If they knew all this, why did they keep it hidden?
From an industry that repackaged converting gay boys into trans people, hiding this new conversion therapy behind the guise of protesting the old one. It’s sinister.

I have just completed what I believe to be the most comprehensive evaluation of Charlotte NC arrest records in history.
This project has taken me 3 months to complete, combing through over 50,000+ arrest records and mugshots.
I've found what appears to be massive fraud.
Thousands of Hispanics have been labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" in the arrest records... THOUSANDS.
In fact, I found over 500 cases where Hispanics who were arrested more than once... had their "Ethnicity" CHANGED from "Hispanic" to "Caucasian" from one arrest to another.
Horrifyingly, I found HUNDREDS of these "White Caucasians" were actually ILLEGAL ALIENS from foreign countries with ICE detainers.
Perhaps most disturbing...
Many of the illegal aliens who were labelled as "WHITE CAUCASIAN" had already been released back into the public, DESPITE the ICE detainer requesting they stay in prison.
We have a serious problem.
Read the article before you spread this damaging info. This sensational claim is coming from a rogue document about a piece of “evidence” they admit doesn’t exist. There is no proof in this claim. No file exists on a computer. It’s really just a rumor. Let’s be better.

The healthiest sign of gay acceptance is irrelevance. My sexuality should matter to my partner, not every institution I encounter.

Same-sex attraction only means something if sex is real. Erase sex, and you erase the foundation of gay identity.

We surveyed lesbian, gay and bisexual people. 94% felt uncomfortable being categorised under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. 87% felt uncomfortable being categorised as 'queer'. Here's what they said - and what we're doing about it.
"As a lesbian I feel marginalised and like I don't belong in a community that used to be very important to me. I feel ostracised and isolated." "It feels like they jumped on our coattails but somehow managed to grab the steering wheel." These are verbatim responses from LGB people in our survey.
LGB stands for lesbian, gay and bisexual - people who are same-sex attracted. TQ+ covers gender identity, which is a distinct thing. Organisations that attempt to serve both often end up serving neither well - and in practice, tend to prioritise TQ+ constituents at the expense of LGB people.
In 2021, the government abandoned the aggregate term BAME following the Inclusive Britain report, which found it failed to reflect the differing needs of those it covered. LGB Alliance is calling for the same approach to LGBTQ+.
Don't Call Me Queer is LGB Alliance's campaign for same-sex attracted people to have specific representation that actually serves their needs. Read our report and take action: lgballiance.org.uk/dont-call…
Gay people constantly called transphobic BY THE COMMUNITY because they’re not attracted to the opposite sex. @GLAAD allowing, even perpetuating this hateful harassment for cash is sick and evil.
Never eat Crunch ‘n Munch when juggling tasks, including feeding the dog. I reached for a handful and didn’t realize I was in the dog bowl instead of the box. Now I have kibble stuck in my teeth and I wanna puke.

Gay marriage has been settled law in the US since 2015 and remains fully legal nationwide - no repeals, no bans. SCOTUS has already turned away recent challenges to overturn it.
What many conservatives (and a growing number of gay people) actually oppose is the activist overreach that turned ‘equal rights’ into mandatory affirmation of gender ideology, kids on blockers, males in female spaces, and Pride events celebrating everything from kink to ‘minor-attracted persons.’
Being gay isn’t a political subscription or a lifetime membership in the latest left-wing cause. Plenty of us just want equal rights under the law and to be left alone.
Replying to @AlexToughTakes @thealexhos_
The conservatives you’re so desperately trying to court are rolling back your equal rights and marriage as we speak.
The visual parallels are striking; corridors of ideological banners, crowds mobilized, public and private brain-space captured.
One is 1930s Berlin with Nazis draping streets in swastikas to signal total cultural and political dominance, grooming the public toward authoritarianism, scapegoating, and worse.
The other is modern London with streets saturated with rainbow (and increasingly trans) flags, where dissent is shouted down, institutions are captured, and a new orthodoxy enforced.
History doesn’t repeat exactly, but it does rhyme. Marginalized groups (real or constructed) are once again being used for a broader ideological project demanding conformity, punishing wrongthink, and blurring lines around sex, identity, and reality. What started as gay liberation has been absorbed into something larger, meaner, and dripping in the same patterns of intolerance and spectacle.
