That 'reporter' was me. My first exclusive & article w @FoxTrueCrime
The host of a hit home renovation show says he had no idea the company's former chief executive was wanted by the FBI — until a reporter called him this week.
Antonio Sabato Jr., who hosted Bellum Entertainment's syndicated series "Fix It & Finish It," told Fox News Digital he was "speechless" after learning that former executive Mary Carole McDonnell had been indicted on five counts of bank fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft.
Prosecutors allege she posed as an heir to the McDonnell Aircraft family, fabricated an $80 million trust, and used forged documents to obtain roughly $14.7 million from Banc of California.
The FBI believes McDonnell is currently in Dubai. A federal arrest warrant was issued on Dec. 12, 2018.
