A big step towards our goal. We need to keep the drumbeat going, and add more co-sponsors in the House and Senate!
The "ayes" have it! @EnergyCommerce successfully marked up the FASTER Act, H.R. 2117 – meaning the bill will come to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for a vote. Thank you @DorisMatsui for your leadership on this important cause!

We are beginning to push hard to get more cosponsors this summer. If your legislators aren't already co-sponsors, do this today!
The FASTER Act eliminates the fear and anxiety felt by many in the #foodallergy community because it requires #sesame to be included on food labels and expands food allergy research. Take action now: bit.ly/3fgVBnL

Replying to @jonfhoffman
Also, concerned about recent epipen advisories. The blue top issue and the sticking in the tubes point to more manufacturing issues.

Question for the #foodallergy community: with Congress focused exclusively on the COVID response, what advocacy/policy issues are you following? While we wait for resumption of normal business, what can FA advocacy groups do to help?

For example, we continue to engage in conversation with offices about moving the #FASTERAct forward, but until Congress is back in session, we are limited in what we can do. We want to make sure we are taking action in areas where we can do so.

We are going to hold a “How to Advocate When Sheltering in Place”* Zoom training in a few weeks. Hopefully, some of you can join! *Final name TBD but I like that one.

As we continue to work together to get through the #COVID19 crisis, Congress is also looking at other important legislative issues. We have an opportunity to get the FASTER Act through Congress – help us get it on the President’s desk in 2020. bit.ly/39BvvIo

Thank you, from a constituent, to @RobWittman for cosponsoring the #FASTERAct #hr2117.

This has been over a year in the making. Happy about the progress and thankful for all the advocates who have gotten involved and helped make it possible.
The intro of S.3451 into the Senate comes just 1 week after we brought together nearly 150 #foodallergy advocates for more than 100 meetings on Capitol Hill urging support for this critical legislation. Take a look at their amazing work! youtu.be/sJSIQMF3SIs

Traveling with severe allergies can be difficult, but without access to proper medication, it can also be deadly. I'm calling on @FAANews to ensure the safety of passengers with severe allergies by requiring epinephrine auto-injectors on more flights. duckworth.senate.gov/news/pr…

She absolutely crushed it!
A Big ‘Thank You’ to Talia Day for being part of today’s @EnergyCommerce hearing to review the FASTER Act (H.R. 2117). Your story is so powerful and we are so grateful to you for lending your voice and speaking up for the 32 million Americans living with #foodallergies.

#ICYMI A few moments ago, FARE Advocate and #FoodAllergy parent, Talia Day, spoke on the FASTER Act (H.R. 2117). @RepAnnaEshoo: “Thank you for your powerful testimony.” – at Washington, DC
