Elliot Roberts accepted an invitation to the Cafe Au Go Go on October 26, 1967 to watch a young Joni Mitchell open for Ian & Sylvia and Howard Hesseman. It was the beginning of a partnership. He soon became her manager, and a few months later, she would sign her first record contract with Reprise Records. Performance of “Little Green” live at Cafe Au Go Go as featured in ‘Village Voices,’ broadcast in 1991.
