🧐Thought for Coaches Today
❓Are we developing players who can think for themselves, or players who look to the dugout for every answer?
The game moves too fast to coach every decision! Athletes need room to fail, improvise in the moment. They need to learn to play the game freely!
Teach them how to read situations, make adjustments and trust their preparation, then let them go & do!

Athletes will remember how you treated them long after they forget what you taught them.
Coaches, Hold kids accountable, Push them to achieve the abilities God has given them, But make sure they know you care!
Outside of my dad, @clewis_greg had the greatest impact on my career!

Signing Day is an exciting milestone for the players who have reached it. For everyone else, it is just another date on the recruiting calendar.
Don't let social media convince you that every college baseball opportunity disappears on November 11.
Recruiting doesn't stop. Coaches still have needs. Rosters change. Opportunities emerge.
If you're still uncommitted, don't panic. Just make sure you have a plan.

Have a good feeling about how this 2028 RHP is going to grow over this next year. Should be a good follow.

Excellent news!
News: After taking a leave of absence, @ECUBaseball head coach Cliff Godwin has returned to the program, ECU announced on Sunday.
A decade on this platform advocating for players, and apparently the most positive feedback I’ve received behind the scenes came from calling a prominent university’s AD a bitch.
Not exactly where I would’ve placed my money. 🤷♂️

College Recruiting / Offseason Development
Uncommitted players: the offseason isn’t a waiting room‼️
🌟Pick one part of your game that’s keeping you from the level you want.
🌟Build a plan, measure the progress, then show college coaches what’s changed.
❓What’s your biggest physical offseason priority?
