If intelligence is no longer scarce, where does lasting value come from?
It's a question every builder and investor now faces. During @kbwofficial, our co-founder and executive chairman @ysiu joined @mfigge (@yugalabs)and @amandacassatt (@serotonin_hq) in a panel moderated by @jacqmelinek of @StrataMedia_.
Lasting value will grow for the people and communities who hold verifiable rights to what they create, and blockchain gives them the infrastructure to do so. In an economy shaped by AI, digital property rights are the foundation for fair participation.
As intelligence becomes abundant, what do you think will become truly vital?

They see this market growing 100–1,000x.
At @kbwofficial, @seyong, co-founder of @fomo, joins @_dsencil on social finance, RWAs, tokenized equities and its goal to become a distribution layer for all things on-chain.
See where that vision leads. ⏬

Yield in crypto gets sold as one number, ‘APY’.
But staking rewards, tokenized treasuries, tokenized credit and stablecoin float are four different products. Each one has someone bearing a different risk, and most of the time nobody has said whose.
That was the question I put to this panel at @kbwofficial: not "where is the yield," but "who is bearing the risk, and can anyone price it."
Four seats, four layers of the stack:
@luganodes : where staking yield is produced
@RedStone_DeFi : trying to rate it
@NYLIManagement : underwriting it for an ~$800B balance sheet
InterVest : deciding whether Asian capital can reach it
Thank you Max, @MarcinRedStone , @ThomasGSy and Hogun.

“It was the right idea, the wrong time.”
At @kbwofficial, @dragonfly GP @tomhschmidt tells @_dsencil what Polymarket and Ethena taught him about timing, then looks ahead to perp DEXs, prediction markets and crypto AI.

In a year, this may read very differently. ⏬

Our job broadly at @solanainstitute is to make the case to governments around the world for the vision of an open, credibly neutral financial system, and to ultimately build a policy, legal and regulatory environment that allows for that vision to be realized.
A lot of the work and activity that occurs on public blockchains like @Solana is highly regulated: capital raising, trading of securities, trading of derivatives. We have a lot of work to do to change the rules that were designed for an intermediated legacy system and allow for that vision to become a reality.
Grateful to have made that case to leaders in Seoul at @kbwofficial 2026 and Solana Summit Korea.

We were proud to sponsor @kbwofficial and to have Chris Tam, President and Head of Innovation, on the main stage presenting how our Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN) secures the infrastructure behind Asia’s stablecoins.
The timing was perfect. BTQ was just named security partner for @moonpay Korea’s stablecoin infrastructure, and signed a three-year commercial agreement with Kaia DLT Foundation to deploy QSSN across @kaiachain, with LINE NEXT’s Unifi Wallet among the first consumer applications to benefit.
Korea is building bank-grade stablecoins now, and BTQ is making them quantum-safe from day one.

Which parts of onchain finance actually need to be fast?
At KBW 2026, Altius Labs CEO Annabelle Huang joined the panel on "Onchain Finance's Speed Problem", covering latency, transaction ordering, and what financial applications need from infrastructure to operate at real scale onchain.
Thank you to @TIGER_NODE for moderating, to fellow panelists @Austin_Federa of DoubleZero Foundation and Halil Mirakhmed of The Open Platform for a sharp discussion, and to @kbwofficial and @Official_Upbit for hosting.
Altius CEO @_annabellehuang will take the stage at @kbwofficial later this week for the panel, “Onchain Finance’s Speed Problem.”
When it comes to improving speed, two versions usually get argued, and each drives different design approaches:

Tom Lee: Continued DAT Buying Could Push Crypto Prices Higher
On September 30, 2026, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee @fundstrat told CoinDesk @CoinDesk at Korea Blockchain Week that digital asset treasury companies (DATs) trading above their net asset value can raise capital to buy more crypto, reducing available supply and potentially driving prices higher. Citing HYPE as an example, he said a Hyperliquid DAT holds about 14% of the token supply and continues to buy. If its holdings reached 50%, HYPE could rise parabolically.
WuBlockchain notes that Tom Lee's market forecasts tend to be optimistic. His bullish targets may not materialize, and actual market performance may differ significantly from his predictions. Readers are encouraged to focus on his analytical reasoning rather than use specific price targets or timelines as a basis for investment decisions.
At @KBWofficial, @johnlilic says banks need to become technology companies to compete as fintech continues to reshape finance.
"Fintech really ate their lunch in a big way."
At #KBW2026, @JohnLilic joined @CoinDesk to discuss @useTria’s approach to self-custody across swapping, trading, earning and spending.
Watch the conversation below 👇
self-custody is our north star
your assets. your control. whether you’re swapping, trading, earning or spending

South Korea is one of the world’s largest crypto markets, ranking among the top 5 globally for both crypto flows and adoption according to the latest Chainalysis report.
At @kbwofficial , our Global Head of Policy, Mykolas Majauskas, shared some of the lessons we have learned from working with regulators and building regulated businesses across different markets.
“One lesson is universal. Trust comes before growth. For a global digital asset company, that means understanding local rules, building real substance and being prepared to stay through different market cycles.”
Technology, governance and security are prerequisites. But long term credibility also comes from showing regulators that a company is there to contribute, share experience and operate to the standards expected of established financial institutions.
