For the last 20 years, enterprise shippers adopted systems of records (TMS/YMS/WMS) and then had to allocate a large team of specialists to "operate the software", clicking through buttons and workflows the whole day. This is finally changing.
Logistics Operators can now manage a team of Agents and not worry about clicking through WMS, TMSs and YMS screens - which will remain useful systems of records but ultimately will see the UI relegated to agentic interface.
That will speed up execution dramatically, eliminate errors and free up time for Operators to work on higher value initiatives and strategic work.
