We’ve now raised 60M, with a new round led by @Sequoia at a 300M valuation to democratize the most powerful technology of today - training models - so that the lawyers, doctors, and engineers of the world can own their own intelligence.

Summit 2026
This month, 130 Metalabbers from 22 countries came together in Spain.
Our team spent an incredible week reconnecting by the pool, over long dinners, and with a little late-night karaoke. We’re remote-first, but nothing replaces being in the same room.

The enabler model is here, and we need to talk about what it means for us. We went from static screen assembly (and yes everything behind the scenes to get there) to building the system that lets teams ship the rest of the product. We're the reason there are no more bottlenecks. (If I hear one more person tell me they're blocked by design...omg)
This time is weird. This version of our role is the most impactful we’ve ever had. Designers making things for non designers to preserve the brand. We will be the ones building the tools, the rules.

Last week, we brought together our community of designers and product builders in SF to mark 20 years of Metalab.
Metalab has been shaped by incredible people with ambitious ideas, and many of them call San Francisco home. It was great to see so many in one room.
