It’s not as degenerate as people make out but it’s such a nothing burger now and the reason it’s survived is because they’ve created a reality podcast show out of all the people on there now which drives engagement more than what’s actually discussed.

Obviously it's the same for every sport, but the avenues for collaboration and IRL content that could tip your content over just the online side of things just makes football such a scalable sport to cover - not even starting on the potential global audience.
