NINE times now, @POTUS, @VP have praised the CCCA! Tonight in KS, President Trump told the crowd at a @RogerMarshallMD rally: “I will sign his bill … limiting out of control … credit card swipe fees, saving you an estimated at least $2,000 per year.” NACS tracks: bit.ly/4iqRiJz

NACS applauds today’s ruling. Two courts have now agreed that the current rate lets banks collect billions more from stores and customers than the law ever meant—far more than it takes to cover their costs and earn a healthy profit. The Fed should replace the rule with one that complies with the law and takes some pressure off shoppers.

We had a wonderful time attending a NACS In Store event at @MotoMartCstores with @RepBobOnder in Wentzville, MO today. Thanks to Rep. Onder for taking the time to learn more about how c-stores serve and support local communities.

“… Fighting to protect hardworking Americans and small businesses from predatory credit card companies and out of control swipe fees.” POTUS just endorsed Credit Card Competition Act YET AGAIN. This bill = best way to stop swipe fee rip off! NACS tracks: bit.ly/4iqRiJz

NACS, others urge USDA to follow the law, protect SNAP. Restricting SNAP choice state by state forces retailers to choose between a complex and costly compliance burden and leaving the program. Read new comments from NACS, @NATSO_Inc, @SIGMAmarketers: bit.ly/4zHb3Tc

We were honored to join a tour of the @caseysgenstore distribution center today with Rep. @ZachNunn. It was a great chance to show the congressman how c-stores serve local communities and discuss issues affecting Main St. businesses. Thanks to Rep. Nunn and the Casey’s team.

Endorsements keep coming! POTUS yet again expressed support for the Credit Card Competition Act today in a Truth Social post. This is the SIXTH time in recent months that POTUS or VP has stood behind this bill to stop the swipe fee ripoff! NACS tracks: bit.ly/4B3PJIS

On Friday, the IL Attorney General filed an appeal to protect the Illinois Interchange Fee Prohibition Act, which helps safeguard businesses and consumers by limiting swipe fees. NACS strongly supports both the attorney general’s appeal and the IFPA. More: bit.ly/4ycs7Px

We couldn’t agree more! “Trump has been clear: Pass the Credit Card Competition Act and save American families from hidden swipe fees. … He continues to urge Congress to meet this moment, put Main Street over Wall Street, and get this legislation to his desk.” WSJ link ⬇️

C-stores deserve a level playing field for selling tobacco and nicotine products. At @NACSonline Show today, we discussed our requests for @FDA: clarify which products are legal, fight illicit products, and increase enforcement against bad actors. More: bit.ly/4hLnCWa

@NACSonline Show 2026, we discussed protecting consumer privacy + new tech. NACS believes fed’l data privacy frameworks should preserve trust between biz + customers, ensure customers can keep loyalty discounts. @RepJohnJoyce’s SECURE Data Act will set nat'l standard for success.

Responsible retailers are at a competitive disadvantage as long as bad actors continue to sell illicit products. The convenience industry supports every effort to stop illegal vapes in our market. We applaud @RepAndyHarrisMD’s support for enhanced fed’l enforcement.
Illegal vapes from China are flooding our country, including flavored products targeting children. Worse, the profits bankroll the Chinese Communist Party and criminal cartels. I worked to advance $200 million in the House-passed Agriculture-FDA funding bill to crack down on this illicit trade.  I’m urging the Senate to join me in this effort so federal agencies have the resources to act. harris.house.gov/media/press…

NACS has submitted comments on @FTC’s new “Proposed Enforcement Policy Statement Regarding Personalized Pricing.” The FTC needs to protect customer discounts, not make them harder. Read NACS’ comments: bit.ly/4hegqCU

NACS appreciates the discussion on illicit vapes at today’s @FDA hearing. The illicit market hurts law-abiding retailers + undermines health and safety efforts. We support more clarity on what is legal + enforcement against illicit products. Thanks @SenAshleyMoody for addressing.
One of my first actions as Florida’s Attorney General was to launch a statewide fact-finding mission to find out what was driving the youth vaping epidemic. Today, as your U.S. Senator, I am making sure our government does everything in its power to protect our kids from illegal Chinese vapes that have been smuggled into this country.

My @SenateGOP colleagues & I urge @POTUS to confront the PRC’s flooding of the U.S. with illicit vapes. This is a public health crisis, a national security threat, & a trade-fairness failure. Honest American retailers are being undercut by a black market supplied almost entirely by a single country that profits while our families pay the price. bit.ly/4yUh0vm
