सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळा २०२७ च्या प्रारंभानिमित्त ३१ ऑक्टोबर रोजी रामकुंड येथे पार पडलेला भव्य ध्वजारोहण सोहळा आणि महा गोदा आरतीचा कार्यक्रम कोणतीही अनुचित घटना किंवा गर्दी व्यवस्थापनातील अडचण न उद्भवता सुरळीतपणे पार पडला. या बंदोबस्ताचा आढावा घेण्यासाठी पोलीस आयुक्त संदिप कर्णिक [भा.पो.से.] यांनी सर्व संबंधित यंत्रणांना एकत्रित बोलावून दोन दिवसीय 'मंथन' (डीब्रीफिंग व प्रशिक्षण) सत्राचे आयोजन केले. या सत्रात मा. पोलीस महासंचालक,महाराष्ट्र राज्य, श्री. सदानंद दाते (भा.पो.से.) सर, सहआयुक्त, राज्य गुप्तवार्ता विभाग, मुंबई आणि विशेष पोलीस महानिरीक्षक, व्हीआयपी सुरक्षा यांनी उपस्थितांना मार्गदर्शन केले; यामध्ये प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव, निरीक्षणे व सुधारणांवर विचारमंथन करून आगामी सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळा २०२७ च्या नियोजनाबाबत खालील महत्त्वाच्या मुद्द्यांवर चर्चा करण्यात आली: ✅ ३१ ऑक्टोबरच्या बंदोबस्ताचा आढावा: राष्ट्रपती महोदयांच्या कार्यक्रमादरम्यान केलेल्या बंदोबस्ताचे विश्लेषण, स्टॅम्पीड प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना व रमणी आयोगाच्या मुद्द्यांवर चर्चा. ✅ दहशतवादविरोधी व सुरक्षा विषयक मार्गदर्शन: संभाव्य दहशतवादी धोके, संशयास्पद हालचालींची ओळख व प्रतिबंधात्मक उपाययोजना. ✅ शासकीय विभागांशी समन्वय: कुंभमेळा प्राधिकरण, महानगरपालिका, जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय व सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभाग यांच्याशी समन्वय आणि अपेक्षित सहकार्य. ✅ माध्यमांशी संवाद व व्यवस्थापन: प्रिंट, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक व सोशल मीडिया प्रतिनिधींसोबत पॅनेल चर्चा. ✅ एसपीजी सुरक्षा तंत्र व व्हीआयपी बंदोबस्त: माजी SPG अधिकाऱ्यांकडून सुरक्षा नियोजन, प्रोटोकॉल व बंदोबस्ताबाबत मार्गदर्शन.

Key Update: The men seen in the late-night CCTV footage illegally cutting down trees planted by Nashik Municipal Corporation on the Gangapur Road divider as part of the city’s plantation and beautification efforts, have been arrested. Following the video shared with us by citizens, our Gangapur Police Station team identified and arrested the key accused and his five associates. The reason for cutting the trees, as revealed during investigations was even more shocking: The accused, who owned a hoarding agency, had instructed his staff to cut the trees because they were obstructing the visibility of his advertising hoardings..! A young woman received repeated emails from a stranger. When she didn't respond, he revealed that he knew where she lived, came near her home and left roses & chocolates there. Concerned for her safety, she posted a reel that alerted our Cyber Patrolling team who got in touch with her within minutes. Our Crime Branch Unit 1 team worked overnight, scanned CCTV footages, traced the vehicle, identified the 30-year-old man and took him into custody early morning. A dacoity planned. A late-night move. And a patrol team that stopped them in their tracks. Sequence of Events: 1️⃣ At around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Our Nashik Road Night Patrolling Team received a Dial 112 Control Room call about 5-6 suspicious persons near the bridge leading towards Patil Nursery, Vihitgaon. 2️⃣ On seeing the police, the suspects attempted to flee towards nearby bushes. Our team chased them and apprehended three suspects. 3️⃣ A search led to the recovery of a koyta (machete), knife, iron saw, iron cutter, rope and chilli powder. Based on inputs shared by youngsters actively engaging with us online, our ‘One Mobile’ Patrolling Vans are now being stationed near schools, colleges & coaching classes, bylanes of busy markets, residential lanes after dark, ghats and other locations suggested by them. Launched on 15th August 2026 to supplement our Beat Marshal and CR Mobile Patrolling, our 9 One Mobile vans currently operate 24×7 in two shifts, halting for around 2 hours at each of 108 pre-identified spots in a day. Structure 'One Mobile' is a specialised first-of-its-kind vehicle with dedicated staff : 1 officer + 3 male & 1 female police amaldars, operating in two shifts for round-the-clock patrolling. Fitted with Equipment Each vehicle is equipped with binoculars, walkie-talkie, megaphone, stretcher, searchlight, helmets, shields, gas grenades, gas gun, gas shells, rope, torch, folding pickaxe, umbrella, body protectors, reflector jackets, baton, hand gloves, masks, first-aid box and other essential policing equipment. Deployment & Supervision Each 'One Mobile' will patrol identified vulnerable hotspots compiled from citizen feedback, as well as support emergency response; monitored live through our Surakshit Nashik Ground Presence System.
