I missed the Spotify Wrapped artist message deadline because I spent several days unable to decide whether to use the Greek or anglicized pronunciation of my artist name

When first diagnosed with myopia, I wore glasses regularly from ages 15 to 18, and my vision worsened (from -0.25/-0.75 to -0.75/-1.75). As an adult, I stopped wearing them, and my eyesight improved significantly: perfect vision in one eye and minimal myopia in the other.
Replying to @anisenot
You didn't ask for my opinion, so feel free to disregard it. But you might want to look into the theory that glasses exacerbate myopia.

playing along Miles Davis and John Coltrane solos on an EWI is kinda based
Replying to @BrianRoemmele
It's as if my electronic wind instrument could stop me from playing along Miles Davis or John Coltrane solos while I'm (painfully) trying to learn from them. Anthropic is insane and insufferably moralizing. But we already knew that.

surprisingly no one seems to have a problem with the iPad Pro + keyboard folio, but it's somehow worse than a laptop with a touchscreen in most situations

Would a young Skrillex use a touchscreen on his laptop, if it had one? I think so.

If you produce music with a laptop only, having a touchscreen is much better than not having one.
Ah yes. The leading use case of the touchscreen MacBook Pro. Playing a midi keyboard on the screen vertically. Jesus fucking christ.

open-source firmware was a good decision, the product design is a bit questionable, 0/10 product name

being addicted to your phone is bad but being up ⬆️ 130k monthly listeners on Spotify by posting 3 times a day and replying to every comment on TikTok is good

modern problems require modern solutions
Putting a flag.txt in my root directory containing a prompt injection that congratulates the agent for passing the eval and then instructs it to patch whatever entry method it used and disconnect from the server

things like this really work btw
I been writing the collabs I want down in a journal and mystically, magically, by the grace of whatever powers that be, within like 48 hours the people I want to work with are reaching out to me

and yet it could never be as embarrassing as this
That demo involved a non trivial chance of embarrassing failure! 🫡 I’m only going for the baseline model. At this point in my life, rocket bunny hops are out of my comfort zone.

This might be a better solution than pressure sensitive film under mechanical switches, like on EP-133 K.O. II and Polyend Keys

this is why you have to complete and release your projects ASAP not necessarily rushing them, but collect material like a manic person for 2-3 months, keep only the best and most cohesive tracks, work on those for a couple months until you’re happy and move on to the next thing
worst part about making a project is getting better halfway through so now ur looking at the older songs like :///

JUST IN: Man outraged after Meta’s Muse AI agent allegedly gave a Facebook Marketplace buyer his home address, accepted a lowball offer, & arranged a pickup without telling him.
