They were working on payment-related products, but after their funding ran out, by early this year they were even looking for an “acquisition” because things were so tough. The founder, @edison0xyz, even worked without pay for over a year. PuffDex, which they built under Hyperliquid, was basically their last shot — and it ended up taking off. I’ll skip the revenue part since you probably know more about that. But for a crypto founder to work unpaid for a year for the sake of the company and the product — that’s really remarkable. I saw a few of the emails, and even when they were running out of money, he strongly appealed to investors that they wouldn’t give up. And all of this finally blew up under Hyperliquid. Most investors are reacting like, “They finally saw the light.” When recent FUD around PUP broke out, apparently he didn’t even flinch. The logic was, someone who hustled unpaid for a year just to protect his product wouldn’t ruin it just to make a quick buck. I also saw some of the emails with investors — the changes over the past few months have been incredibly dramatic.
