This morning, I asked Keith Siegel what it meant to him to cast his ballot today. He answered: “To me, voting is about freedom, responsibility and hope for the future of our country. After spending 484 days in captivity in Gaza, being free and having the right to vote carries a deeper meaning for me. Freedom is not something I take for granted. It means having a voice, being able to make choices, and having a say in the future of our country. I believe our leaders must prioritize human life, dignity, peace, and security. When I vote, I am exercising a right that I deeply value and expressing my hope that our children, grandchildren and future generations will live in a country where freedom, democracy and humanity prevail.”

The last remaining terrorist from Shani Louk's horrific murder has been eliminated. The terrorists didn't just kill Shani. They took her half-naked body and paraded it around like it was a trophy they won. Her family had to watch that. The people who loved her had to see that. Now the people who are responsible are gone, but Shani is still gone too. May her memory be a blessing, and may her family rest a little easier knowing that the men who hurt her can never hurt anyone again.
