NEW: NBC News has called #CO8 for Democrat Manny Rutinel over GOP Rep. Gabe Evans. Colorado's first flip of the night. Rutinel cut into Evans' 2024 margin in Republican Weld County and ran ahead of Yadira Caraveo's '24 margin in Democratic Adams County.

This is a horrible take. Radio is such a lifeline to @MLB for so many fans. The picture that is painted. So many folks have the TV muted and turn on the radio. Or just listen on the radio.

To all my Friends, Rockies fans, current and past Players, members of the entire Colorado Rockies Organization top to bottom, I would like to extend my appreciation and love for being part of an incredible journey for over 20 years. I was granted the opportunity to coach and manage this club. Then, I was asked to come back and mentor the young players and future leaders of this organization. Both were gifts. Thank you to Dick Monfort for trusting me with both of those journeys and for always treating me like family and making Colorado feel like home. What I will hold onto most isn’t the wins. It’s the people! They are what Rocktober was built on. That’s what the next great Rockies team will be built on too. With my last day being October 31, 2026….just know that I am not retiring…but rather recalculating my journey personally and professionally. In the words of my favorite Doctor….”Don’t be sad it’s over be glad it happened” - Dr. Seuss Thank you for your support over the years. My family and I have loved our time in Colorado, and will always cherish our memories in purple. Make a difference today, Love Clint @Rockies

The humor is not for show. With Murphy — from pregame press briefings to player conversations — there is always purpose to the prose.

When Donald Trump says “we’re making a fortune” off high oil prices from his war in Iran, who is “we”? Not the families staring at $4.33 gas. Not the workers choosing between filling the tank and putting food on the table. Not the small businesses squeezed by higher costs. The oil companies and their shareholders are making a fortune. The rest of America is paying the price. Op: @thebriefingwithpsaki
