The military in eastern DRC arrested @SamMugumya, tried, & sentenced him to EIGHT years in jail.
He literally walked out of that horrible ordeal smiling. Took the "professional" Ugandan army just a few weeks to permanently disable him!
But I am supposed to be a proud Ugandan because this is the only country I have! God! 🇺🇬💔

What Ed Sheeran did wrong tonight:
- Started with Oct 7th
- Called it a conflict
- Pretended that he didn't know enough
- Both Sides it
- Didn't apologise to Macklemore
- Didn't call it a genocide
- Didn't say FREE PALESTINE
- Used a teleprompter
- Didn't blame Israel
Respect to the whole band for this act of honor, shame shame to Ed. #FREEPALESTİNE
Always, he really amplified his voice for #FREEPALESTİNE .
President @WilliamsRuto ‘s incitement of Xenophobia is a criminal stance. He just undone over a decade of the E.A Community vision and goal! #SayNoToXenophobia

I remember when NRM apologists were all over, castigating us for using the word 'abduction' to describe the horrific state-led enforced disappearances of our people in those unmarked vehicles. "The state does not abduct, it arrests", they coldy said.
Many went as far as mocking the victims, eagerly regurgitating the propaganda of regime officials who claimed that the abducted and missing had traveled abroad for kyeeyo!
Now, as the machinery turns and more of their own are targeted, their vocabulary has suddenly caught up with the reality—they are loudly calling for an end to "abductions, kidnaps, and seizures."
Isn't it tragic that some people must first experience oppression firsthand just to recognize it? Should it take personal victimization for one to develop a conscience?

Good morning citizens of the country that Sam Mugumya calls home but only occupies less than 4 meters of it, whose CDF, while still serving in the national army has launched his presidential bid before resigning, without consequences.

What Gen Muhoozi didn’t - and still doesn’t - understand:
1. He cannot claim to be our (Rwanda’s) friend and use “Hutu” in derogatory terms.
2. Yes, it is good he seems to grasp the danger that is the FDLR and the heinous crimes it has perpetrated on Rwandans and Congolese. However, the FDLR being Hutus doesn’t make Hutus FDLR.
3. Understanding these things is the best way to show respect to his beloved Uncle.
they martyred him. by arson! the circumstances under which Musoke suffered will make 1 sick if I tried to paint a picture for y’all!
We shall overcome. Only time!
PAUL MUSOKE was a young patriot. A committed foot soldier. A disciplined youth leader who went through the @NUP_Ug School of Leadership. Last week, Paul's house was attacked. It's door was closed from outside before being set on fire. He sustained severe injuries before being rushed to hospital by the neighbours. Despite every effort, Paul did not make it. Yesterday evening, he passed on at only 27 years of age. Such a tragic loss. Paul joins our countless comrades and supporters who have died under the most painful, brutal circumstances. In almost all cases, perpetrators of these crimes are never brought to book. Paul deserves justice. Fare thee well comrade.

Replying to @KatushabeJ25293
Yes, true bwana Katushabe. Imbeciles like me who negatively portray great things like the rampant awesome kidnaps and beautifully photographed torture are the problem. Long live the patriotic torturers, they improve our national image. We should positively report their acts. Mea maxima culpa
